The Hidden History of Ancient Egypt! Full Interview with Yousef Awyan and Mohammed Ibrahim

Ойын-сауық

A video that I've been meaning to release for several years now - this is the full length sit down interview discussing the many mysteries of the Ancient Egyptian civilization with experts Yousef Awyan and Mohammed Ibrahim.
We filmed this in Egypt, in Yousef's family store, in 2016. Yousef and Mohammed are experts in the ancient Egpytian civilization, their language, stonework, architecture and the history of discoveries made in this remarkable place. It was a fascinating discussion that covered a lot of ground, and I've broken up the interview into chapters that cover different topics.

    Whoever made the pyramids seemed to have been able to do it with ease. I have always been fascinated by Egypt, these videos have brought my interests to another level. I often wonder what other capabilities they had. "If you can build a pyramid(almost perfectly), what else can you do?" I think ancient people were far more advanced than we give them credit. The Younger Dryas or some catastrophe must have set us back to primitive times and we are just now picking up the "real" pieces. Who knows? Always cool videos to watch! Keep them coming!

    The only gripe I have with this is that we seem to be the first to explore space I.e. ISS and moon landings ('to the knowledge made public'). So it may be wrong to assume this, but it looks as though we are the most advance human era in that aspect...I'm open to any theories you may have but if they were so much more advance why can't we find traces of them in space as well?..unless they went underground 😉

  • @robertomagnani8091

    @@99waterblade Nice comment. I have the feeling that "we" are not really "us". Let me explain it in this way. There is a small group of people that have the knowledge to send men to space, and receive the results of these missions. There is a small group that retrieve the crashed UFOs and examine them very carefully. There is a small group that go in first place when a new archaeologic discovery happens (i.e. explore a new tunnel). We, as common people, are absolutely out of those activities. We are not "they". "They" would never let us know the very true results of "their" research. And yes, there are several hints about very developed humans that many thousands years ago decided to hide, totally isolated. These humans are probably living in underground facilities since long time ago. But, perhaps I am wrong, aren't I?

  • @karlkarlsson9126

    @karlkarlsson9126

    @@99waterblade It's a very good point. My answer to that is that they didn't have such technology, but more likely they did have some type of power-source to play around with, but not to be able to get to space, so such thoughts were still out of reach. The power-source that they had was probably invented from construction, that's why the technology seems very focused mostly around construction of things. So I don't think we should let our imagination get carried way too far out.

    When I need to fall asleep. I try to construct the great pyramid step by step. It's a good exercise. Almost a meditation. Turns down the stress of daily negative thoughts that keep me up at night. I start with the site they picked. How they shaped and leveled the ground. Then to the alignments. Then starting to carve the descending passage. I usually get stumped there because at the angle it is going down. How could you dig with that angle? You own legs would be in your way. Even if they dug it sitting they would need to reach passed their own legs. All that work to go 300 feet down and just to stop? Wtf? Another mind bender is how did they connect it with the well shaft? If they dug it straight down how did they know exactly when to stop and turn to exit at the bottom chamber? So did they start digging bottom up? That would be hell to do. I can go on with more but thinking deeply how they did it knocks me right out. All those negative thoughts that can keep me up at night melt. They stand no chance if you start to think how the great pyramid was done. Step by step. Try it. Been doing this nightly for about a year. I can almost imagine the people building it like I was watching a movie or something.

    Cool idea. I was going to ask you what your method was then saw that you had indeed started it. However I would be starting with the architectural blue prints. It's frustrating though because we will always get to a point where we can't go on because we don't have the information available. Still, I might just try it! 😊

  • @MURD3RWAVE

    @MURD3RWAVE

    @@PatchouliPenny I clear my mind and try to imagine how it went. I start with thinking some ancient priest must have picked that site for a reason. Was there a hill there? If so how much work to cut and remove stone. Then I think how would they cut the stone so it interlocks and use water to level the site. Part that gets me to think the most is as I said the descending passage. I think they started that first and built the pyramid perimeter around it. The passage really get me stumped. It's small. Only one guy could dig at a time. That would be so back breaking. Digging a hole at that angle and height through sandstone. Then people making the tunnel walk flush. Why? I mean why make them flush and go 300 feet down through rock only to abandon the descending chamber. Just try to imagine step by step how they must have did it. Layer by layer. Yusef and Muhammad are right. When you look at how you think they did it you find more questions. Some you never considered. Why they did things harder then they needed too. It makes no sense. When I try to do it step by step in my head it just knocks me out in 10 mins. Great way to fall asleep and you will get more questions that you never knew existed.

    Some great points here. I enjoyed hearing about the 15 meter long block within the pyramid, and also the part about alabaster. But a small correction 19:32 Granite is formed from magma, not lava, and not from a volcano. The definition of lava is molten rock that has been brought to the surface of the earth by volcanic eruption. Magma on the other hand is molten rock that very slowly can cool and harden underground and is eventually brought to the surface of the earth by geologic forces such as erosion.

    Having watched so many videos on his channel and others, my mind keeps coming back to the water. I think that's the entire focus of the civilization that created these monuments. I envisage an ancient civilization with the use and manipulation of stone as the heart of its technology. Similar to how steel is at the heart of ours. They were masters at the usage of stone to build and manipulate in all sorts of ways. They built their civilization in Egypt and prospered for many centuries, enduring through the Ice Age and beyond. Then when the ice caps receded, there was some kind of climate change happening. Their lush land was being encroached upon by the enlarging Sahara desert. It could also be that rising ocean levels were making the Nile too salty to drink. So they built structures all across Egypt to get at the pure ground water. And inside they placed stone boxes with some kind of technology that could create extreme vibrations, not unlike an earthquake, which they must have known could create fissures that brought ground water to the surface. As we know, materials like granite and similar stones have a high vibration tolerance, but sometimes the stones broke from the intense vibrations. This might explain all the damaged stone boxes we see. If this is true, it would also explain what the chambers in the Great Pyramid are for. The Grand Gallery was not a decorative procession for a dead Pharaoh's tomb. It was a cistern for the storage of precious water, which was released in controlled ways through the King's Chamber via the shafts leading to the pyramid surface.

    Interesting thought. Might be some truth there. They obviously knew what they were doing. They use the hardest and largest stones and make it look easy.

    They were more than masters of stone, it's just that over 10,000+ years anything else degrades back into dust. Metal is gone within hundreds. How do you shift and cut all this stone without electricity or some form of power? human strength, even in huge numbers, simply isn't enough.

    @@charleswalker2484 It seems the Egyptians had an incomplete picture of who those old ones were. So perhaps these original inhabitants of the Nile Delta went elsewhere at some point, taking their technology with them. Then many years later, the people we know as ancient Egyptians moved into the area and took possession of the old ones' abandoned constructions, doing a best guess at what they were built for.

    I think I got the wrong impression about you, but decided to keep watching. Glad I did because your videos are extremely good with awesome info. When you were talking about your upcoming trips to Egypt during the beginning of this vid, I thought to myself, Ben is the luckiest person around, lol. Seriously, just one trip to the pyramids almost seems like a far fetched dream to me. Maybe that is a good short term goal, to get my self to visit Egypt and those very compelling areas.

    Praveen Mohan shows that in India there are carvings on ancient temples that depict different nationals including the Egyptian. They definitely traveled the world and perhaps found other lands we are not aware of publicly today and stayed. There are Vedic texts where other lands like Ayodia were Lord Rama was from is mentioned. Many other realms are mentioned. The Maya and Aztec "disappeared", where to? They ALL traveled the world. They ALL shared Vedic iconography. The evidence is out there. 👀

    Yes the vedic connection is so important but not many of these Egypt content creators seem to get into it. The Barabar caves and ellora temple are INSANE.

    Brilliant knowledge by both gents. I would have loved to have met Yousefs father and seen a similar interview with him. I always watch the pyramid code parts with him in it. Wouldn't it be amazing to take Yousef to Peru one day and get his take on the stone work in person....

    The oceans were certainly highways! Their interpretation of the glyphs as late as the Greco-Ronam period makes sense ,particularly as sailors would have more access to foreign symbols and have incorporated them. This is a very persuasive analysis!
