The morkite is what we make weapons with and resupplies only actually cost 20 nitra and the rest of the 60 is sent to super earth for them to make ammo, liquid morkite is a good fuel source for super destroyers, gunk seeds are used as lubricant for mechs (yes you heard me) eggs are used as testing on bile titans, dreadnoughts are super bugs that are killed before gaining too much power, I can’t think of much else but there are more comparisons

@@miguelleis4827 Ion would have trouble tho to the sheer numbers of enemies because of energy. Ronin would be perfect for crowd control but probably will have problem's with heavily armoured targets. Northstar is the opposite of Ronin. Tone is somewhere between those two. Scorch, Legion and Monarch will have a breeze.

Rookie: What, the DRG inc? I thought that they are a mining conglomerate. Vet1: You ain't wrong rookie, but DRG specializes in high risk resource extraction. Their miners are a mix of industrial workers and corporate mercs. Vet2: Yeah, ever heard about hoxxes IV? Rookie: That former terminid infested planet that we had to crack open to drive them off? Vet2: You didn't hear this from me, but it's still infested, the damn bugs just dug deeper, their hives are still all over the planet and as deep as possible, near the planets core. But the war effort still needs the resources from that planet so High Command set up a bidding war on the rights to mine on hoxxes IV, only two companies even bid anything since everyone knew how dangerous it would be. DRG narrowly won, and the other, DRG actually found out that it was a secret spy operation set up by the damn automatons when they had sent some scouting forces to it. We still don't know why the bots where so interested in a damn bug planet. Regardless, DRG employees are some tough sons of bitches, mining and gunning down bugs at the same time. And if their appearance didn't give it away, they are genetically enhanced, more than any helldiver even, but that's corporate benefits for you.

That will be absolutely perfect. Plus additing a drop of titan from titanfall and thos bugs will stand no chance. Maybe even astartes from warhammer 40k will enter to to fight xenos scum.

@@Squanklor the DRG community is also way smaller, and generally there is no true "meta" in DRG aside from the exceptions that aren't rules like fat boy or sticky flames, so there's no weapon balancing issues to tear eachother apart over.

I genuinely want a crossover event. If the DRG armors were tweaked to fit the artstyle of Helldivers 2, they'd make for some amazing sets, and it has a plethora of weaponry that would be a TON of fun to play with. Shooting automatons with a Cryo Cannon... IMAGINE.

nah, i feel like the Helldivers doing a crossover with the Imperium from Warhammer 40k or the UNSC from Halo would be more fitting. They'd all probably bond over having faced mechanical enemies (Mechanoids, Necrons and Forerunners) and aliens (Terminids, Tyranids, Flood/Covenant)

Imagine a mission deep in the heart of Terminid territory, and your job as a Helldiver is to defend a point where DRG is set to send their dwarves to exterminate the hive underground. How well you do as the dwarves reflects how many Terminids are above ground.

The best crossover possible. Shame it won't happen, but maybe a reference one day?

IF YOU ROCK AND STONE, YOU'RE NEVER ALONE!!! I love thr thought of the Helldivers taking care of threats that come to/are on the surface while the Dwarves take care of the more dangerous stuff below. Like, sure, the Helldvers have to face bile titans and what not, but the dwarves face enemies with invincible armor (opressor) and regularly encounter enemies that spew acid (praetorian, acid spitter, etc).

Oh right *clears* *throat* these human subspecies are in charge of liberating below the surface of these planets and harvesting the resources" "How did these human subspecies even come to be?" " *stares* *into* *distance* anyways, you wanna see who can kill a bile titan the fastest?" "Ok!" *then* *they* *both* *die* *from* *a* *hellbomb*

*A strange looking dropship flies by a team of helldivers. M3: Sarge! Is that our extraction? S1: Of course not. Don't you see that thing has missiles? That's no ordinary dropship. M3: But then, what IS it? S1: These guys are the ones SEAF calls in for only the nastiest of bugs. They've been fighting them since the 22nd century. *The dropship sends a barrage of missiles towards a horde of bugs, killing them instantly. *When it lands, it opens its cargo bay and an APC rolls out. As it takes off, the phrase on the side becomes visible. M3: "USCM, Express elevator to Hell..."

This gonna go down as one of the best crossovers to date

As the waves of Terminids finally cease, leaving the helldivers battered and weary, a tense silence descends upon the battlefield. Smoke drifts lazily from the charred remains of fallen enemies, and the air is thick with the acrid scent of battle. Helldivers clutch their weapons tightly, their eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of further danger. Helldiver G5: (Breathless) That was... intense. Helldiver H8: (Wiping sweat from their brow) Too close for comfort, if you ask me. Helldiver C1: (Nodding grimly) We need to regroup and-wait, what's that? A distant rumbling fills the air, growing louder with each passing moment. The ground begins to tremble beneath their feet, sending loose debris scattering in all directions. The helldivers tense, readying their weapons for another onslaught. Helldiver G5: Watch out! Bug break up ahead!! But instead of more enemies emerging from the earth, four figures burst forth from the ground in a shower of dirt and rock. The helldivers instinctively raise their weapons, ready to defend themselves against this unexpected threat. Helldiver C1: Hold your fire, soldiers! These ones are... friendly. The helldivers exchange wary glances, lowering their weapons slightly as they assess the newcomers. The four figures, clad in heavy armor and carrying formidable-looking mining equipment, stand before them with determined expressions on their weathered faces. Helldiver H8: (Skeptically) What kind of friendlies burst up from the ground? Helldiver C1: (With a hint of amusement) The corporate kind... The tension dissipates as the dwarves emerge from the dust, their gruff voices echoing through the air. Dwarves: ROCK AND STONE!! The helldivers share a moment of incredulous silence before breaking into relieved laughter. They lower their weapons completely, extending a hand of friendship to their unexpected allies. Helldiver G5: (Grinning) Welcome to the party, dwarves. Looks like we've got ourselves a fight to win. Together, the helldivers and dwarves stand side by side, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead. In the midst of the chaos and destruction, a bond forms between these unlikely allies, forged in the crucible of battle. And as they prepare to face the next wave of enemies, they know that as long as they stand together, they can overcome any obstacle in their path.

I think for a perfect bug/robot destroying crossover is Hell Diver2, EDF, Starship troopers, and Deep rock Galactic.

I think it should be canon that they are the logistics and resources guys and they are fighting right below us

The dwarves from drg would unironically have an easy time with the terminids, provided they were provided with ample ammo

"The hell are Tenno-" [A trio of strangely-shaped spacecraft swoop down from orbit, and a compartment on the bottom of each flips open, with a strange-looking metal humanoid detaching from each one before the ships fly off.] "What in the name of democracy..." *"These are just three of the many Tenno I advise, Helldivers. Elite warriors wielding the power of the Void in the name of protecting life- and in this case, democracy and freedom. With them and those four dwarves, nothing will be able to stand in your way."* "...well, FUCK yeah!"

You should make the Helldivers team up with Combine soldiers (Regular ones and Overwatch Elite variants) to fight Antlions, Headcrabs, Zombies and the Terminids as well, and face off the Gonarch and a few Antlion Guards from Half-Life as the final boss. So the Combine Soldiers deploy from a Dropship and two APCs, and the Helldivers think that it’s a new Automaton deployment technique. But then an Overwatch Elite steps out of the Dropship and introduces himself and his squad to the Helldivers. Then they get swarmed by Antlions, Headcrabs, Zombies, Terminids and Bile Titans, but hold them off. Then they part ways and the Combine leave, and the comic ends.

DANGER DWARVES DEMOCRACY my headcanon collab is. Super Earth sends helldivers to secure X planet surface so DRG can get in underground and extract the resources. Occasionally assisting each other above or below ground

love the joke but as a military man myself, i disagree on the principle that the drg miners embody the military mentality way more then the divers do. we are killing-trained goofballs. just like the dwarves.
