There’s actually a scene in a show where someone talks about death being pure love. The dead person doesn’t complain over anything, can’t hurt anyone, it gives to the animals or bugs and not wanting anything in return, it’s actually interesting.

For a song that’s incredibly dark and depressing, it absolutely slaps.

I love how you resolved the more awkward lyrics like originally rhyming “eyes” with “eyes” from the verse with the “great big worm with rolling eyes.” This rendition is seriously perfect in every way. I love Harley Poe’s but this version just topped it for me!

I just found this song and it’s amazing! It really makes me think about what happens when you die, someone say you go to heaven or hell, others say that, you’re gone, it’s like sleeping. This makes me think you are still “Conscious” while dead and can feel yourself being eaten alive and decomposing.

The only thing I fear about death is the possibility that you are just forever in pain for all eternity.

I always used to sing this when reading Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark and now this is my favorite cover.

When me and my brother were kids we loved this song at Halloween and I insisted that it be played at his funeral everyone was horrified I know he was smiling wherever he was 😂 this song will forever make me think of him and smile so that you for this weird ass absolute banger

If this song ain't played at my funeral, I will come back alive.

It's kind of unnerving to think about the fact that he just has a noose,like does it just hang in his closet with the rest of his clothes
