Thanksgiving. Take away the turkey, the candied sweet potatoes and the football … and what’s left? At the core of the Thanksgiving holiday is gratitude. This special day is set aside to reflect upon and express our appreciation for the gifts of life we have received. As important, Thanksgiving is an opportunity to “pay-it-forward” by returning that kindness back into the world.
Gratitude is expressed as a primary emotion. It is a state of mind translated by the brain into complementary neurochemistry that is secreted into the blood stream. The chemistry of gratitude energizes the body and releases a wave of euphoric sensation, a sense of harmony with all that is.
About this “chemistry:” The emotional chemistry of gratitude engages the activity of an amazing enzyme - telomerase, the cellular equivalent of the Fountain of Youth. This month’s video, a little longer than usual (~11 minutes), provides the science of how telomeres can influence the onset of aging, disease and depression. AND … how consciousness, such as gratitude, happiness, positive thinking, in other words, how expressing “Thanksgiving” every day of the year, can provide for a more youthful, long-lived, and vital life experience. I hope this month’s video empowers your life at this time of planetary evolution.
For my own thankfulness, I am in deep gratitude for all of YOU cultural creatives, for your consciousness is shaping a more thrivable future for civilization. I am most deeply indebted to my love, Margaret, for the joy of partnership and celebrating life on planet Earth. Our efforts to provide knowledge that can empower people really wouldn’t work without the beautiful souls supporting the mission of Mountain of Love Productions: Sally Thomas (choosing retirement after 14 years at the helm), Annie May Willis (our new spirit-of-love running the office. Have a moment? Check out tracks on Annie’s fabulous CD, This Love, in the store on our website), a very special thanks to Laura Virgallito, whose youth and vitality have empowered our social media outreach. Major contributors in promoting our mission in support of evolution include Marsha Lipton, wonderfully managing fulfillment in the store, and Beth Karish, whose efforts support our growing membership site. And, of course, a very, very special shout-out to Alex Lipton, whose fabulous video creations help bring into consciousness the principles of a thrivable world.
With Love, Light, and Gratitude,
Bruce

My Dad will be 100 years old in February. He has always been an extremely positive minded person. He also says that he always goes to bed knowing that he has something to do the next day. He stayed active and is in reasonably good health. He still plays golf once a week, goes to dances and plays cards. I can see how his life has been extended because of the things you mentioned. ❤

Absolutely fascinating! I was told by specialists that I would be on a wheelchair for the rest of my life due to my degenerative disc disease. I fought through my negative thoughts and kept telling myself I wanted to live longer to enjoy life with my new born son. I told myself day by day for two years that I would walk again and I would eventually do things I did before like playing football and many other things! I can finally say after that period of time I’m back on track. I’m a man of faith and I believe faith is definitely auto suggestion and I believe anything is possible! My legs are fully mobile now and I’m experiencing life like never before! As you said gratitude and happiness is key to change and make your body be transformed by itself! I believe in the power of the mind and that God is infinite so we can tap into His wonderful power by connecting our mind with what is good! Thank you for this video and taking the time to share it! 🔥👏💪💥

I love being alone most of the time. I was ànorexic for 35 years because of childhood allergies and eating the wrong foods. I've learned you can very much create a life you focus on. I began trying to meditate picturing my body healing itself. Specifically my stomach. And I started carrying what I called a ' gratitude rock '. When I touch it I give thanks immediately for 3 things. My life has literally gone from deaths door to actually being good, positive and productive now. My picture was from last year right before my surgery. Dr told me last follow up that they were not expecting me to survive the surgery. That was never even a thought for myself with a newborn grandson at the time. We really are master's of our own realities. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I've been retired for over 20 years. (Yes. 20 years). I enjoyed my occupation. But I've had fun and exciting things to do every day since retirement. I restored old cars. Rust removal, welding, (taught welding to myself ), body work, and sanding and sanding and sanding. Got burned out on that. Then making bird feeders and houses. Got into gardening. Now, I'm into spirituality and body-building. Strenuous workouts every day at age 75. Too old? I am what I believe I am. And I look forward to the next day. My morning gratitude: I thank the Universe for my purpose to participate in Creation I THANK THE UNIVERSE: For guiding, providing for and protecting me For the power within me that advances my spirituality For speaking to me through the words and actions of the Spiritual Beings of others For the power within me to maintain my perfect health I AM GRATEFUL TO THE UNIVERSE FOR: The Power of the Prime Creator WITHIN me The Light & Radiance of the Prime Creator shining through me Revealing to me, my purposes, as directed by my Higher Self The Power within me to serve the Universe I AM a channel through which the Universe sends its love and wisdom I AM a co-creator with the Universe I AM guided by my Higher Self I AM part of The Infinite that expresses itself through me I AM in perfect health I AM the Will of the Universe.

When he was in our city for a lecture I was there to listen to Bruce Lipton. It was a great pleasure for me to learn reading his great book "The Biology of Belief". The lecture also helped me to understand clearly what is Epi-genetics. At the end of the lecture I talked to him telling my own story. Without having the important and most valuable knowledge, unknowing yet a teenager I was a dreamer for a better life when we were dispossessed and utterly poor refugees. Yet, what he was telling us now all happened to me now that I see why all these attributes of hoping, gratitude, and search for self-growth made my life the opposite of my early days. Now, in my 85th rotation around the Sun, I feel great, grateful, hopeful and going deeper into spiritual consciousness and learning from masters like Bruce Lipton, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Gary Zucav, Dr Joe Dispenza, Greg Braden and others and they have all contributed for a more interesting life than ever before! Looking for more turns with this power of consciousness in our Intelligent Universe in an amazing journey enjoying the gift of life while in this form. So much to learn and grow... and it's a wonderful life!

My dear Mom passed at 97 years. She was a very strong and up beat person. She was a nurse working full time and raised 7 children. She was excited about so many seemingly small things like finding a wild flower in the woods. She ate food she enjoyed and was always grateful. One thing she was always determined to do was get out and take a walk...rain or shine. She gave us so very much light in life. I will always miss her. Thank you Sir, for this very informative and important message. I am so glad I found your video today and plan to pass it along!❤❤❤

If school had teachers like this, I would have never run away to join the circus! I really love and appreciate the way Dr Bruce explains this with clarity, kindness and wisdom. My father had always said two things to me, the Robbie Burns poem "Oh what gift the givee give us, to see ourselves as others see us" and Gratitude. Only yesterday I got what he had been trying to communicate - That with true gratitude we are SEEN in a better light. We not only live in a better light, we shine it, and when people see this their hearts open, and we can share a finer state of being, together. So thank you Dr Bruce - for what you give, share and represent.

I learned another special thing today, thanks to YOU! I prayed FOR THINGS for 55 years . The last 17 years my PRAYERS are 95%...Thank you Lord Jesus! You may ask why...... and the answer is.....I was diagnosed 17 years ago with ALS. I received a more positive attitude, and I began to be MORE Thankful, and I still work a few hours a week with the aid of my walker! I thought it was mostly due to keeping a positive attitude.... BUT .. now I realize that the .... "being grateful" had had a hand in my living much LONGER than normal life! Thank you!

Summary: Increase Life Span The end of dna is called Telomore length. Telomore length basically controls how many time a cell can divided. When Telomore length stops increasing, no new cells will produce, mean you will age. If Telomore length keeps increasing, mean you will keep producing new cells and going to live longer. What stops Telomore length from increasing: Poor Nutrition, Childhood Abuse, Domestic Violence, Post Traumatic Stress Discover, No Self love or loss of love, No purpose in life What keeps the Telomore length increasing: Good Nutrition (especially omega 3), Exercise, Happiness/Gratitude, Positive Outlook, Self Love & Love, In Service (have purpose in life, ie dedicated religious people are in constant service to worship One True God)

Thank you so much for posting this! I just enrolled in a Comparative Religion class because I am genuinely curious about sacred verses. I did not grow up in a majorly religious household. I would have identified as a Christian as a child, only because we celebrated Christmas and Easter commercially... we did not understand any reasonings behind the celebrations. I thank God (or Allah, or Creative Source, truly, the One I know Loves us all, no matter what name we have for this consciousness 💜) every day now that I was not blasted by the teachings of the church nor ever had any bias impressed upon me about the scriptures. Most of the details I can spare, but I began a spiritual journey a few years ago... and it did not start out religious by any means!! Life took over for a while and I stopped growing altogether (survival is sneaky in that way). A bunch of stuff happened and I felt like I needed something. Anything. So, following guidance, I tried going to church. I didn't feel at home by any means, but the scripture was speaking to me every time I went. Something was there, but it just did not resonate completely. Having done more reading and sitting still to listen within, I find that I fully believe in Jesus, the man, and the purpose he had in the Grandest plan of all (which is none of ours on this planet) for the area and time he was born into, but I cannot agree that he was God incarnate. So I had to ask "Where does that leave me?" Christianity did not exist at the time Jesus walked the earth, so I started digging into the Tanakh for old testament... and what I found resonated more than what I was reading from the Bible... to find that it is certainly multidimensional... but when I read New Testament... I felt like I was able to understand way more that fully surrounds spirituality and creating your reality than what I ever heard preached in a church. When I talk to people about my spiritual beliefs, I mostly hear that I sound Buddhist. I couldn't tell you one way or the other! A lot of what I first found that resonated with me was in my yoga class. So it's extremely possible. But there are some things that I know I believe in full heartedly that is not talked about really in Judaism nor Christianity. And I have not the slightest clue about Muslim nor Hindu traditions and beliefs. But my heart tells me that there are great similarities there, as well!! Mostly having to do with Love for all that is, Compassion for your fellow human, and Gratitude for all that is. I have had a life-long dream that we, as in ALL of humanity, have the potential to drop our personal feelings about our differences and replace those emotions with Love, Compassion, and Gratitude. For too many years I was enveloped in the darkness of my experience. When I found the Light, it was overwhelmingly blinding, but when I was able to see what I have been looking at this whole time, I knew in my heart that my dream can be a reality. I just have to dig through the teachings and show everyone how, that even though we are similarly different, we are differently the same 💜🌈 I am in Love with humanity, and this is my purpose 🥰

If you hurt within, don’t hide it. Be grateful you’re alive to know what pain and pleasure is, and be thankful for all the lessons pain has taught you

Thankyou Dr. Lipton. I'm a moslem, and this video make me feel that Islam is really clear and wonderfull, because "in the Quran at Surah Ibrahim ayah 7" explained if we have gratitude so Allah (our Lord) will give and add more kindness or Gift to us. MasyaAllah. Your research relate with that. Thank you! God bless you, Dr. Aamiin
