2. Head-first part of body to emerge in resurrection (Col. 1: 18)
3. Each member needs direct connection with Head (Col. 2: 18-19)
B. Function of Headship: Natural to spiritual
1. Receives input (from every member)
2. Makes decisions (in interest of whole Body)
3. Initiates action
4. Gives ongoing direction
III. Government by Headship (1 Cor. 11: 3)
A. God and Christ (John 5: 19-20, 30)

Parable: Beggar taken in who wants to take over the whole home (We are the
beggar)
C. Taking the initiative
1. God completes only what He begins (Rev. 21: 6). If He is not the Alpha, He
cannot be the Omega
2. Originator and perfecter of our faith (Heb. 12: 2)
3. God completes only what He has begun (Phil. 1: 6)
4. What God has not initiated will be burned up (Phil. 2: 16b)

1. In your individual life? (Ps. 1)
2. In your home?
3. In your church?

Derek Prince is the only Man who explains the bible in a way I can understand.I feel like I am with him when he speaks.Nowonder God chose him as his spokesman.I have had Demons flee from my home from the words and voice of Derek Prince. We prayed a prayer from deliverance from evil and as I said Amen my window shutters moved and it was like something took off fast.Truly amazing man.Bless you Derek Prince. You turn the scriptures into easy understanding.🙏

the difficult thing for me is that my husband is not a godly man--following Jesus as if He is his head. So, what I have to do is trust Jesus that He is able to direct my husband as I submit to his headship over me. I have to believe that Jesus is able to cause me to be covered even if my husband doesn't demonstrate the capacity to cover me spiritually. Jesus is faithful, and I'd rather trust Him than run away from the Way that He has set things up.

My dear Jeans, perhaps we can stay in touch in this way. I remember that the few who seemed to care about the problems that are associated with an ungodly husband were often calling out from the sidelines that you must divorce the SOB. But the Christian wife loves her husband. If he hurts you physically or if you feel your life is in danger, yes, of course, you need to take shelter. Or if your children are in danger, but it sounds like yours is the disappointment of not having a partner who is carrying his weight or pulling in the direction you'd like to go. Imagine that your marriage is a bicycle built for two. You are pedalling down a side street in a lovely resort town when you come to main street and you must turn either right or left. You happen to know that there are some interesting shops to the right, but hubby has the handle bars and he turns LEFT! Resistance has been building in you and NOW, in a little bit of anger you THROW you body to the right. The bike is no longer balanced and starts to tip. Your husband has turned the handlebars HARD to the left to counter the fall. Now, guess what? The bicycle is going nowhere. Nowhere. Instead, we keep praying and moving along. We watch for those moments that show us our Father is in control and saving us from our occasional bad decisions. And never forget Mary of Bethany who desired "the GOOD part." She understood that we women can continue on "the way of life." We have "the power to become sons of God." God will give you wisdom to direct your children without undermining or disrespecting their father. HINT: Your bed is a throne. The suggestions you make subtly from the throne are often followed without argument. This is a power to be used sparingly.

@@jenniferboyd2200 thank you so much for your encouraging words and especially your prayer for me--wow! My friend's husband recently died, andsince then, God has shown her what a good man he really was, and she realized that she was blind to that, due to always having contempt for him. I probably suffer from the same phenomenon, tending to judge and even despise things about my husband, which I'm sure clouds my general view of him. I've also, like my friend, realized more and more that how people treat me has much more to do with my own "bitter root expectation", namely, as a child, having decided I wasn't worthy of being loved, so I subconsciously compel people to not be loving toward me. But Jesus is healing me, and as that happens, I notice that my husband's behavior toward me is improving.

There is a history of men climbing to the bald spot of a mountain to communicate with God. The Rabbis of Paul's time apparently attributed this knowledge of the bald spot to God's communicating with the "head" of the family. The insinuation is that nature itself displays this line of communication by uncovering a spot on Papa's head and giving Mum a natural covering. Mary of Bethany gives us an example of a woman who desired "the GOOD part." Women are not excluded from a conversational relationship with the most high God, although it's not generally practical. If Mum and Papa were a democratic partnership, she may vote yea while he votes nay. On a family excursion at a fork in the road, Mother said, "Turn right." Father said, "No, left." Someone must have authority, or we would go straight on and hit the large oak around which the road forked. Interestingly: (The kippah may have been borrowed from Lyons, France (Gaul) along with the red garments of the Cardinals. The Romans also took with them the pagan altar at Lyons and established the "Roman" catholic church, where that selfsame altar now resides. One object you would recognize is the "Dagon" mitre. The Pop'es head seems to be submitted to Dagon. And Dagon to Lucifer? What do you think?

  • @sophiesmith5922

    @sophiesmith5922

    11 ай бұрын

Not really. People like to imagine demonic stuff in the Catholic Church, in Pentecostal Church, whatever. Read the apostles creed. In catholic church the altar is where we worship God and the place where the priest blesses the elements for communion. Its a symbol for the altar in the temple, though not biblically accurate.

For more than 2000 years we live in the time of Grace, not Law. We stand by Faith, not by Religion. We talk to God, we pray to Jesus, we don't say prayers (except OUR FATHER), which some pseudo-spiritual institution taught us. We believe in the church as The Assembly of all born-again Kids of God, we don't rely on man-made religious organisations. We are Holy because of Jesus and His Sacrifice, not Holy because of the decision of a so-called "Holy Father".... we trust solely in our infallible Papa-Dios Jah-Daddy Abba-Father, not in faulty human beings: Jeremia 17:5..... halleluJAH-LOVE💚💛❤️ The truth alone is setting us free, and its name is Jesus Christ.... we don't need priests, sacraments, rituals, ceremonies, church-buildings, statues, paraphernalias of all sort etc to maintain our heart-to-heart-relationship with our Creator-Redeemer-Comforter, Abba-Yeshua-Ruach, Father-Son-Spirit, our one and only TrinityGOD♡♡♡ 🙏🛐✝️😊🕊🕊🇺🇦🇺🇦🇨🇭🇳🇱🇱🇰🇬🇷🇮🇱🇿🇦🇯🇲🇩🇪🌏🌎🌍

but say the truth...if people are not acting in line with Gods will...maybe in ongoing willful sin, or just ignoring prayer, the Bible et al, pursuing worldly pursuits...wake up call! You are serving Satan to whatever degree you are not serving God.
