@@ttlover7490 well, when olivia took nellie and luke with the little girl abigail, she was alive, she is the daughter of the dudley's that didn't had permission to go near the house. So she drinked the tea with poison and died right?? Well everyone who dies in the house stays in the house, so that's why there was two corpses of the blonde girl, one was a ghost and the other was just the corpse of the little girl that was on the floor, dead. Have a good day!

I know! When I first watched that scene I was like "why is the vent neck lady saying no?" And then the end of the episode came and I was in literal shock
This and Nells death are the most terrifying scenes. This scene is terrifying in how low-key and subtle it is, there are creepy ghosts but no jump scares, and Liv just wanders around like she’s in another world despite Hugh constantly calling her. The lighting and camerawork are absolutely perfect and make the scene.
The scariest part for me was when luke went into the basement by accident, then the suspense when the sister we t down to check it out

well, not 1 shot... but most of the episode was 3 or 4 shots...with a few shorter sequences towards the end. i can't imagine how hard it was to get the take right.... first, they had 5 child actors who had to remember what they were doing... no one could screw up..... they had tons of stage hands swapping statues, moving the wheelchair boy off set, etc .... i can imagine they had days of shooting it over and over, but who knows how many takes they did. Their behind the scenes even showed them picking up and moving chairs in the funeral home to get the camera through, then putting them back in place and getting out of the way before the camera turned back

What's also scary is how Olivia is reacting to these ghosts she's seeing. She's not even really scared...but confused...as though she was in a dream.
I know this scene is supposed to be scary and all but it was just funny to me bc all I could think was "gettin' real tired of your shit, Liv."

I love the scene in this episode where Olivia is searching the hall, passes the two statues seen at 1:12, ducks into the room on the left, comes out barely a second later, and one of the statues has turned to look at her. I stopped mid-episode to rewind and confirm I'd seen it because I thought *I* was the one going insane. Such a creative yet effective trick!

The scariest moment for me is when Nell has one of her freeze ups, Arthur goes to get the light then has an aneurism and of course the bent neck lady is there. The part where she crawls towards his body is nice and disturbing. And the thought of not being able to do anything it scarier than anything else in my opinion. I love it.

The scariest scene for me was when the dad was just about to find the body behind the wall in the basement, and it looks like a face is in the background watching him a few feet away
I’m so pissed off, the scene that most people found scariest (the car scene) I wasn’t even paying full attention when 99% of the time I am so I didn’t get the proper initial reaction. Really pissed me off because this show is just beyond amazing so far, can’t wait for a second season

The scariest part for me was when Luke hid from the tall bowler hat man.
Love the one shot camera work 💯
the fact the it is just one shot is trulyyyýyyyy AMAZING!!
One of the scariest scenes for me is when the dad is carrying his son downstairs to the car, telling him not to look, and he sees "mom" coming after them in the hallway.

Scariest moment to me is the man in the hat that kept following grown Luke. There's nothing more scarier that having the most horrific creature from your childish nightmare constantly following you - your entire life, and to see it everywhere you turn. He could not shake him even after saying the famous numbers over and over.

0:22 "Can you move? I'm trying to fuckin party"
The show is great. But man that follow cam shot of him walking through the hallway is amazing, reminds me of a third person video game.
Not to be annoying but this isn't the most scariest scene but this episode in general... it was just ... brilliant. This episode is epic. Pure art.
what i like about this show is the little things hidden you can't see it unless you watched it again like the statue and when you realise those things a shiver and goosebumps all over your body .
Mind bending camera work, ep 6 was mindblowing
this scene, the shot, reminds of when you're playing those horror games
That car jump scare scene was just... Omg. I didn't expect thT
I can't even watch the 1st scene without almost crying
This episode was the scariest thing I've ever seen, and not one jump scare to be found
The cinematography is on point in this scene/episode.. such an amazing watch.. i'd give the director and all of the actors/actresses a handshake if i could!
By far the best shot scene.
I can't believe this was all one take.
The scariest moment for me was to see the House winning by breaking this family apart . That's real horror. Imagine losing your both parents and sister because of a damn house. That's what scary is to me. Not the ghosts but to lose my parents.
This was so hard to watch, I kept wishing for the power to come back when I first saw this ep. I have to watch this 4 times to finish the entire episode.
Feels like a Survival Horror game.
I've watched a few of "The Haunting of Hill House" and It Doesn't Scare Me XP
For me the scariest is the slightest purposeful thing the directors did in this scene is turning the head of the marble statue (left) midway through this sequence. And then in the next shot the head was turned back to normal 💀 the fact that i noticed something was eerily off gave me a jumpscare
The scariest scene was Nellie vision. Everything was perfect in her mind, but... It breaks my heart the dancing scene and her death. I was scared, I was sad, I was crying... Gosh!
Where is the "I was right here and none of you could see me! I screamed and shouted but none of you could see me! Why couldn't you see me??" Then it cut to her at her own funeral where her family couldn't see her omfg 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩 who thinks of this
Such a fun long scene.
most unerving scene Nellie attends her funeral not at the end when hugh was talking to shirley she did a great job making her body looking presentable
Incredible show
I like the actors see it first so we know if there’s a jump scare or not
I deadass laughed so hard when the grandma came out
them ghosts just vibing
Can you upload the scene shirley and theo get scared in the car and theo's monologue? It's not on youtube and it's one of the most amazing scenes from the show

When I watched ep 9 I bawled in tears
So many scary scenes!
It's interesting that Nel's mom has her put on a similar slip dress for her to die in, like the one the mother is wearing when she dies. So was the person the father quickly saw in front of the windows actually Nel? Or are there other times where the two are confused like that, given the delineated sense of time in the house. Have to give it another watch.
The scariest scene for me is Luke and the Tall man. I felt like I was Luke for a moment and holding my breath while the tall guy was entering his room. Ps. It also gave me chills when Nell revealed that all of them already got into the red room. Mind blowing
The tall guy’s reveal scene WAS the scariest 😭
This looks like a video game of him walking around
Scariest scene??? I don't know about that! However, it was well shot. Kudos to the director and production team.
Scariest part is when Olivia started to act strange when she came back to the house
I didn't see the show yet but neither the trailer or this scene looked scary.
Guys the basement scene where Luke’s stuck in the elevator thing and that THING FRICKEN CRAWLS OVER TO HIM
THE STATUES ARE FUCKING MOVING.
“She Lies, that one”
just finished watching ep6 and i get it, nellie isnt dead she was there and no one can see her. When they were fighting, Nellie made a distraction so they would stop fighting.

it's not scary that was not their attention there but the little hidden things that make you go wow after watching it for the second time like that old lady in the bed i didn't realise it until i saw this clip
In hindsight, how did she do that? Phasing in and out through halls/walls maybe? Always thought that was his chance at saving her from the possession if he had gotten her out of the house with the kids. Time and distance from the house as a family unit. This series is done so magnificently I can't help but want more. Guess I'm greedy like that, lol :p
