i heared this story last night om AM 1260 a local radio station here in MCminville OR i heared part of it as i was listening to music , but i missed half of it , thank god for utube , i love old radio shows , i could listen to them all day

My age 71yr old when I was a boy I used to listen to radio horror stories in bed when my parents thought I was sleeping now after all these years I'm starting to listen again in my bed Alec from Scotland

so many of the American radio shows and films had this premise in the '40's - the girl friday who always got involved and wouldn't stay alone - she had the same personality and the same way of speaking. then, of course, we have the awful organ music which was always the same for every show. I enjoyed this, but i really can't stand that organ. also, our radio shows always seem to be noisier than the BBC radio shows - there's very few i like listening to anymore - unless the commercials are at least cut out. the Nero Wolf shows are good, for instance. thanks for posting though :}
