Ida was my great grandmother. My son was doing our genealogy and found this video related to Ida Gunkle. 😢 what a sad story.
I really like your investigating style, no drama, no fear just engaged with the spirits as if they were still alive, I enjoyed this episode guys and I enjoyed the history of this place, well done, can't wait for the next investigation. 👍👍👍

This place had amazing history and your guide was so knowledgeable. I loved the way he told the stories. These type of building with this history makes me so sad but the story needs to be told so history doesn’t repeat itself. Thanks for the upload and amazing work as always ❤️

I like that he explained what the pk energy was. It’s a bizarre concept ..you don’t hear many investigators talking about it. He definitely has a way with words..
I recently found your channel & I must say you have changed greatly since the beginning. The way you handle yourselves now is great. You listen to the spirits & treat them as if they were still alive. Asking & thanking them is something I’ve never seen anyone else do. It’s refreshing to see a “real” bunch of investigators that don’t run from the paranormal but actually welcome it. I look forward to your upcoming episodes! God Bless!

Cholera is a bacterium and does not survive without a host for very long. You are definitely not going to “let loose” Cholera if you dig underground. Or refrigerate a corpse with meat (which is gross anyway).

Wow!! Amazing how you get such response from ASKING the spirits and saying Please and thank you rather than demanding they "Perform" for you. Other investigators who have been around a long time seem to feel the spirits are under their command but you guys use such respectful voices and speak to the spirits as you would each other. I have not seen many of your vids but plan on looking them up. I just subscribed. Funny how, when I watched this, I was literally on the edge of my seat. When I watch some other investigators, I can take it or leave it (mostly I leave it). Wonderful job, guys!

Holy cow! a Cholera soaked floor, should just leave that concrete floor in place. Wow! Crazy that they stored that body, in with the food. Disgusting, crazy things they did back in 1800s. So much history in old old buildings like that, those type of places have the most hauntings.

I continue to adore y'all and your channel! I do have one request: please, please, PLEASE don't tell them it's okay to use your energy. Some spirits will either not know when to stop or will intentionally use it against you and it is WAY harder to make them let go. I know it's well-intentioned to show trust, but as y'all know, some people are every bit the jerks in death as they were in life, sometimes more so. You are so respectful, and I love that. Just be safe, okay? Let them drain the equipment instead.

I loveeeee ghost hunting and stuff like this it's sooo cool you guys are doing it
I love how respectful you guys are, so much better to watch than watching a certain other popular ghost show.
As someone who has done as investigation at Randolph County Infirmary, you guys did a really good job. My kids (by kids I mean 32, 21 and 20 years old) and I had so many incredible experiences, including sleeping there. Had a lengthy conversation with Ida Gunkel with a emf using temperature changes
I haven't gotten to the investigation yet, this gentlemen (Ted Martin) is one of the most engaging, well-informed, sympathetic and bluntly honest interviewees I've seen on any paranormal show, and the first I've ever heard define a "creeper" as the non-demonic product of PK energy generated by humans. I'm inclined to agree, although I've never seen one.🐙 (If I did I'd probably run like hell.) He's also very funny in a deadpan fashion.

This place is very close to where I live in Parker City Indiana. When I was growing up, it was an “old folks home” and we visited for a school field trip. I was in kindergarten or 1st grade, but I’ll never forget that creepy place!!! Not to mention I’m a sensitive, which I didn’t understand at the time of course! Nooooo thank u! I even hate driving by it when I’m over that way! U guys are brave going in there! You have a good show!!! Love it!!!❤️
I actually live about 10 mins away from this place. I knowna town marshal who is also on the swat team and they do training exercises in this place. Some of the stories that he tells are gnarly, and there are plenty of others with crazy stories as well. Im glad this was checked out by some real professionals
Honestly I love watching you, I only had one comment that I thought was interesting, the man giving the tour said something about Cholera being an airborne disease which is how it spread so much. Just from a basic search online I can see that it's not actually airborne, it was more likely a lot of people drank the same water source that was infected that caused large amounts of people to get sick at the same time. Opening that room wouldn't release Cholera onto the population, just probably really nasty back there lol Anyway! Love your content, think you are some of the most professional investigators I watch these days. I love that you don't get freaked out immediately by every little thing and take things seriously. Hope you guys are staying safe these days! I know this is a vid from 2020 lol
I'm hooked now!!!! Scary but addictive omg!

Hello there, PQ Team! So, I've been watching you guys for quite some time now, and I think this is one of the most active nights you've had so far. I am clairaudient (and claircognitive) and I caught all sorts of relevant responses to your exploration. Tell me what you think: 23:45 "Hello!" A faint whisper after that "unexplained knock" y'all recorded. 25:27 "Hiya! What's up?" This whisper sounds like it has a speech impediment. Ryan walks into Ida's room, says "Hiya!", and this voice responds. It sounds like Spirit's nasal passages are closed off and that his/her mouth is slightly open (not completely closing) when speaking. 26:14 to 26:16 Faint footsteps in the hallway (?). 26:28 Thump/bang from somewhere down the hall. 26:39 "Yeah!" Faint response after Ryan says: "-- I have it sitting on?". 26:46 "It's a camera!" followed at 26:48 by "Don't push it off!". This is a weird, low, gravelly male voice that sounds close but also far away. Distant, but not. It's hard to describe. 27:02 "We know." Ryan says: "I'm here by myself", and the same near/distant low gravelly voice from 26:46 and 26:48 answers him. Mind you, it doesn't say: ">I 27:06 "Shove it!" Again, the low, gravelly voice. Ryan says: "Because I wanted to talk to you, Ida", and this Spirit is obviously feeling grumpy and irritated with the whole operation. Maybe there's some jealousy going on because everyone always wants to talk to Ida? 28:16 "Oh my God. Go away!" A very faint female whisper after Ryan says he is going to go down to the morgue. Sounds exasperated. Perhaps Ida didn't want to converse with you tonight? 28:39 "Just. Get. Out!" Female again, as Ryan is walking down the hall to the morgue. 31:51 "I justwanchagoawey (I just want you to go away)!". Ryan is asking Spirit to touch the EMF or speak into the recorder. This sounds female, far away, and a little garbled. 37:11 "Yes." Quiet, older-sounding lady responding after Ryan asks: "Is there a woman down here?". He then asks: "That's moaning?" and at 37:18 a different voice replies: "No!" 39:48 "It stinks!" Steve is in the jail cell, asking if there is anyone in there with him. 39:53 "I don't know!" Steve is still in the jail cell, pauses and says: "There's a device --" 40:03 "Hate 'er (hate her)!" Jason is simply scooting quietly about in the wheelchair. Female whisper. Perhaps Spirit didn't like the former owner of that chair? 41:53 to 41:58 Low, sinister whispering. I feel like I should know what he's saying, but I don't. It's The Judge, BTW. Ryan is yelling down the stairwell, and this dude replies in two sentences. You can hear the hard "s" sounds as he responds. 42:03 "The Judge!" Same low, sinister whisper as above, after Dave asks: "What was that?!". So, lots going on in there and no bloody wonder. The place sounded like a free-for-all with survival of the fittest. I understand that "that's the way it was back then", but I m so glad we've come much farther than that, today. Thanks for another great explore, and y'all keep yourselves safe. :)
