The Hassle of Love

Ойын-сауық

Nobody is impressed when you love your friends. How can the people of Jesus be a beacon of hope in a hurting world full of hassle? By loving our enemies.
As we continue in our series through the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Ben brings a call to action for us as the Church to change the city and the world by our love.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." - Matthew 5:43-48

Like a sailor on turbulent seas, we need to look up and see the North Star: the fixed points in the sky whereby we might navigate the objective realities in life. We need the skill-set to know how to journey through life and how to select the right people to journey alongside. In this book we will chart a course through the four relational phases that the vast majority of human beings on the planet will pass through in their twenties: singleness, dating, engaged and married. In each of these phases, we will look at what eternal purposes should be pursued in each stage, and how to pursue them.
SINGLENESS: DEVOTION
DATING: EVALUATION
ENGAGED: UNIFICATION
MARRIED: MISSION

I Love praying for you who hate me, I love praying for your families, I thank God for keeping you clothed and in a country where food and water is not scarce. I pray for those whom have been spying on me for over a decade and a half, I pray for those whom hate me because you look down your nose at me and the Tongan race and you hate my nationality and look forward to oppressing my brothers and sisters for the sake of money and power. Thankyou Jesus Christ for them, I pray this in your name Jesus Christ, amen.

Those who know grace, show grace. It is so beautiful that it applies in other areas as well. Those who know love, show love. Those who know kindness, show kindness. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

The scriptures in this video are great! As is all scriptures 😃 each day before it starts I think to myself - I wonder what good stuff God is doing today, and what is satan the biggest loser whimp doing today? Without fail God shows me what he's doing and he also shows me all the evil satan is doing. My preference is to be poor, weak, humble and carrying my cross for Jesus Christ because satan is a loser but because his native tongue is to lie so he'd never tell us that.

Where can I find that Jewish prayer for others? And what part of the Bible is this sermon from? So I can read it and refer to it later. Thx!!
