tbh that scene was written either by a non manga reader or just random animator, since it creates problems in the story. 1. Sanemi should stomp both obanai and muichiro without trouble in a fight. 2. Sanemi and Giyu fight in the future and draw against each other being nearly equals, this scene takes away from giyu's story since he is nearly as strong as sanemi despite being underconfident. And this scene puts obanai and mui at the same level as sanemi which takes away from giyu's feats and makes him just another hashira and not unique (and trust me he is quite unique in what he does in last 2 arcs). 3. Sanemi and obanai seeing infinity castle was a huge writing blunder, Nakime should have just trapped them in there and any of the 3 left upper moons would kill both unmarked sanemi and obanai in few seconds so there was no point in running away. 4. Obanai noticing the demon taking the girl away in ep 1 and not the other demon slayers is again bad writing, obanai is known for his horrendous eyesight. Sadly as a huge manga fanboy this arc is filled by inconsistent writing and horrendous choices. They sacrificed the already mediocre last 3 arcs (storywise) and made it worse just for hype. This arc has some unique insights into the lives of Giyu, Sanemi and Gyomei but they just ruined it. Imo this anime season is not even "meh" at best.

thats not why hes so good for hes age,it was explained he trained every time till the brink of death, he was coughing blood after every training he did,hes body barely could handle the stress of hes training,why he go so strong so fast,that and hes potential.

12:56 Fun fact, like how Tanjiro didn't know what a train was, he also doesn't know what butter or pancakes are since he had a traditional upbringing in the mountains! Fun little detail is it being written in hiragana when Tanjiro is says them when they're normally written in katakana (loan words are written in katakana whereas native Japanese words are hiragana)

the way all of them acting like their age for the first time is so saddening cause this arc is like the calm before the storm.

Due to personal issues, the manga author didn't have time to give the characters a deeper story behind them. Literally the manga counterparts for these episodes are like few pages. So happy that the author was given an avenue to put the things she wanted to include. Looking forward to the next episodes! ❤

The author did not speed anything up for personal reasons, that was fake misinformation from gossip magazines. And no, all of this is written purely by Ufotable with no outside help and no author involvement. Please stop with all this blatant misinformation.

For anyone that doesn't remember, we already know quite a bit about Sanemi. He's Genya's brother, and we saw him in Genya's flashback last season.

After seeing how cold he was last season, seeing Muichiro really open up around Tanjiro is really wholesome. ☺️

The throwing of paper airplanes is symbolic. It perfectly preserves the ongoing theme of the season which is "The Calm Before The Storm."

Just saying this cause y'all are my fav KNY reactors: Muichiro's is a very important character to the story so it is good for you both to remember the details of him that'll help you in the next arc. Loved your reaction to this one! 💚🖤

It's so wholesome and heartwarming. These are literal children thrust into a life or death situation. Many of them have suffered terrible personal losses. It's sweet to see them able to act like kids amidst such a life.

This episode brought me so much joy, Muichiro & Tanjiro together are too much and just him alone with the dual personalities 💙 ufotable serving with the much needed wholesomeness for this arc!!

This episode was super wholesome! Muichiro has a special place in my heart, and seeing him smiling, his eyes sparkling, and even opening up to other hashiras has got me gushing ☺️☺️ I cannot wait for the next episode!

What I love about this episode is that it shows both: Muichiro is extremly talented, more so than his peers who have been doing this for longer, but he shouldn't be put in this position just like most of them, he's just 14 he's a little and the paper airplane scene is cute in nature but it acts as a way for people to understand that the tough exterior doesn't mean that he doesn't want to just be a kid

Idk if y'all remember but in the previous season Muichiro's blade broke from Yoriichi type zero training and the whole time he didn't have sword and the begining of the fight when he fought Gyokko he had a chipped blade.... I think that is why Ufotable added this scene of him asking master to have a personal swordsmith permanently forever to always have a perfect blade....

I loved the change of Tokito after the fights and moments of the last season. When he's with tanjiro he always smile and act so different like he's more happy its so cute tbh. Also when they all played toghether with little airplanes outside like they all enjoy stay toghether ❤

Trust me, we'll be seeing A LOT more of the Hashira in action in the next arcs! Ufotable can't show everything just yet, but DAMN if it doesn't look gorgeous. Also, I'm liking the directions this Season is taking. Y'all already know the original manga author couldn't fit everything she wanted to into it, so I applaud Ufotable for adding in so much anime-only content this season. Hopefully they'll dial it down a bit for the remaining arcs, but it fits perfectly for the training arc since most of the training was originally only a few pages or panels.
