Hey Di, I got 95.7 and being a general cat. candidate and from blr so am not even getting anything in my HS quota, So I have no other option then taking a drop but the thing confusing me the most is that I got 89% in 12th boards, i fucked up in english and cs soo, do u think i should give improvement next year ? cuz i fucked up physics as well this year

89% aint that bad tbh....but my suggestion would be if you are taking drop year than dont waste your time studying for improvement exams rather focus on your jee prep and give mocks also give all the pvt exams too next year as said in the vid being a gen is tough❤️ If you want good clg exams list let me know i will make another vid

I wont recommend you to take double drop as the student giving exam is surely going to increase a lot in next year and tbh btech aint worth double drop...coep and vjti is indeed best colleges i would highly recomment you to go for it and work hard and show your full potential in getting placed as the HARSH REALITY of jobs are you get placed at a xyz company first with X salary then when you switch you automatically get a salary hike so i would highlyy not recommend you to go for second drop.... as i have seen a lot my friends who were getting good clgs in the continuation year but nowthey all went to tier 3 clgs as they didnt get anything good...and said isse acha toh pichle saal hi tha. Students are increasing like crazyy so even if you work very veryy hard its very tough and it wont be your fault at all but cutoffs 0.001 se differ krta even more than that plus being double dropper will come with more pressure.

@@Tanishaapriyasis how about a partial drop then in that manner i won't even lose a year if i didn't manage to pull it off i know it sounds desperate because it is despite that i know that are many opportunities forward all i can see that i am already so close to the peak of mountain and i don't want to let go you understand what i am saying i am scared of moving forward or in simple words changing paths when 99 percentile is just 5 percentile away all of your concerns are valid but when you have invested so much time and efforts in a thing and when you feel so close even if you are miles apart you don't want to give up whats your opinion sis please it will matter a lot to me

@@dronepawade3456sis its very imp when you know when and what you should leave at the correct time. Im not saying dont take drop bcz afterall its gonna be your take..since you are saying its only 5 percentile away pls check for once how much rank difference is in 5 percentile. My bestf scored 95% and being genral she isnt getting anything rn she is too stressed and going to tier 3 college. But in your case you are getting coep and vjti for which people dream of so pls consider. Next year 16-17 lakhs of student will give jee and even if you will get 99% there will be 2k people or even more scoring the same and cutoffs will go so high. But if you want to,enroll yourself in any good clg you are getting then manage both drop and clg❤

Hi Tanisha, I recently watched your KZread video about taking a drop year for JEE preparation. I just received my 12th board results with 93%. Since I didn't have much idea about JEE, I didn't prepare for it seriously and ended up scoring only 57 percentile. I haven't taken any JEE coaching classes, so I'm not sure how tough it is. Should I take a drop year and give my best shot to get into a good college in Delhi for Computer Science Engineering (CSE)? Or should I consider going to an average private college now? I'm confident in my coding and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) skills, as I scored 99/100 in Computer Science in my 12th board exams. However, I really need a good college for the right environment and faculty. Looking forward to your advice. Best regards.
