Everybody talks about starting package as 3.5 lpa which i agree is less and IT companies should think about ....but nobody talks about how all the same IT person earns and get 5-6x hikes after switches and reaches to packages of 20+ lpa within 3-4 year...which is quite decent imho...also not to forget people save more than 1-2 lakh per month if a person goes onsite which still is very difficult in india to save even with good salaries because of our taxation system...so imho we should raise concern about the starting salaries but as a whole we should appreciate how IT has transformed everybody lives ...and real estate and other dependent sectors have also transformed in metropolitan areas...

Its true that technology is evolving and with time leadership may demand to learn new technologies. Which i think must be taken as a kind of opportunity rather fearing about how I can coup up with the new tech. Saturation is also one of the primary reasons that all students are not getting job, as everyone is going after full-stack or mern stack development in a way that no other thing exist to do. There are a lots of other domain in which we can explore ourselves more like data analyst, data engineering, data scientist, mobile app development and many more apart from web development.

Exactly what i see in my friend circle and in clg students that everybody is doing Full stack web dev 🤯 i mean wtf guys is the only thing in IT to do and when i say about different tech domains they be like they are not interested and I'm highly interested in other domains like u said data analysis cloud and AI/ML and more rather than full stack

@@girlysh09 Every domain is important at it’s own, it’s just that people are going after web dev because it is a straight forward path and think that this is the only thing to do, why we do AI / ML because we have to learn a lot of things in that, so we should go for web dev as we don’t want to do anything in that. And listen if you are willing to explore AI / ML / DA / DS then you should go for that.

Bhai IT ke alawa bhi aur sectors he aur wo bhi grow kar raha . Please make a podcast on a manufacturing sector like steel/automobile/ energy producing companies. Growth , future potentials are really needed to know which is very less in youtube.

Likewise, as said by sir ,, some companies use freshers as opportunities for there profit, which happened with three year back ..when I was doing aadhar tech support for galaxy scales and service ..a company from assam...not only me ..there are many who faced this .....presently I m working in 3i-infotech.

I started from 7500 rs monthly only in PCS technology Delhi currently after 10 years 32 lpa package …. There are very less jobs in current situation ..

I think the title could have been better. There is a lot of good advice regarding work life balance etc which was the focus of this talk and not "harsh reality of xyz". Also, please bring a (real) harsh reality of hiring from a freshers POV.

There are no jobs available for freshers or those with less than 1 year of experience. Nowadays, IT job openings typically require a minimum of 3 years of experience, making it extremely challenging for individuals like me with only 1 and a half years of experience to find new opportunities. Many companies expect experienced candidates with 3+ years of experience, while those with less experience are often offered positions with minimal pay, sometimes even below 15k, and may be required to work night shifts. Furthermore, there is a trend of newly emerging institutions hyping up the IT sector, leading to a flood of applicants within a short period, many of whom may not be qualified. Consequently, for every single job opening, there are thousands of applicants, making the competition fierce. Overall, the current job market situation in IT is dire, despite the sector experiencing a boom.

Thanks for info, but mujhe React Native Aati hai. :) Startup par focus karna chahiye abb atleast experience developer ko. Agla 5,10 saal domestic market ka time hai. US / Videsh yaha sab jo banana tha ban gaya hai. Bharat me kafi kuch karna baaki hai. Satartup khulenge logo ko job milegi.

Ek word hota hai diversification of business.... Agar woh rickshaw wala smajhdaar hoga toh woh jivanbhar rickshaw nhin chlayega..... Woh kal factory bhi baitha skta hai....woh multiple line se business mein ghus skta hai..... But naukri mein khin na khin sankirnta hai.....tumhara rasta phle hi patla hote jata hai..... Business line has always more and more scope of living a life....... Naukri dhang se samay pr sahi company mein lge tabhi thik otherwise samay ki barbaadi hai..... Yeh sab TCS infy Wipro ibm Accenture yehi ghatiya company ka naukri pr itrana nhin chahiye....

Business mein gand marrake kaam karna padta hai. Mere bade bhai ki shop hai aur mein wahi kaam karta hu.. din mein 17 ghante kaam aur saal mein ek bhi chutti nahi..Job bhi kiya hai meine aur salary sirf 4.5Lpa tha. Lekin mein job mein zada khush rehta hai. Hafte mein 2 din chutti mil jati hai.

I have 6 years of experience in mechanical as a research and development engineer in JCB but there is no growth in mechanical. Is it good to switch to IT as a data scientist???

I have started 17k peon of government service now after 9 year 43k after 1 yr it will touch after MACP 50k. Working hours 9 to 3 effectively sometimes I also look outward that I could earn more in other job but nowadays I think it doesn't matter. If I control my expenses even if this salary I can manage basic needs.

Bro I don't have much experience but I faced a similar situation two years ago and I made a bad decision. I chose MNC over startup which I regret. If you choose MNC they will choose technology your career will start with and mostly they will assign you to ERP,crm, applications where learning is comparatively less. But if your startup is working with a good technology and you are sure that you will work on that same technology don't overthink just choose start up. Because in MNC you won't have the option to choose the technology which will have a huge impact in your career ahead. In MNC you might have comfort at start but in the longer run choosing startup would be beneficial
