Anyway I also have gone to a couple casa which is for me safe. Absolutely true what was said in this video. Been to Colombia many times and have seen how important it is to be careful in how you approach and what type of female you should be approaching. Stay away from clubs to meet a life partner. Best bet is to make friends a good family and after a while through these friends you may have a chance to meet and get to know a quality female with values no games

Just found your channel and wow is it a relief! I’m a married guy so a lot of this doesn’t apply to me but so many gems and universal truths in this video. I’m a traveler and plan on retiring abroad in 10 years. I’m fluent in Spanish and currently Colombia is at the top of my list for retirement. You hit the nail on with ex pats not speaking Spanish. Astounds me people think they can understand a culture without speaking the language

Especially when I see some of the rivers, lakes and sceneries I've seen they're beautiful and in every single picture I see beautiful women in Colombia but I had already heard a lot about stuff, so never took the time to do the research. Do not listen to him. In Colombia they kill for sport. The best way to avoid getting robbed in Colombia is not going to Colombia, yes. you heard that right. Choose another destination where you dont have to worry about getting killed, robbed or drugged. I decided not to put my life in constant risk. I just travel to the Phillipines and Dominican Republic, two great places where you know that will not get killed. I dont work for a tourist office in Colombia. My advise is to get a different destination.

I am going back to Colombia for the third time this May. I had 'dealings' with two women there, but I knew what I was getting into, so it was no serious expectations there. With this third woman I met, she's closer to my age (I'm 45 she's 37 years old) and yes she has kids and don't want anymore, shes a better fit for me. To be honest, even if I hadn't met her, I would still retire there. I'm not looking for the 'fast life', I don't drink or smoke and I don't go to clubs a lot. Bottom line is that we get in what we put into it. You spot on, brother. You have a new subscriber.

Yep. Dudes go to these places and just rotate through the girls who can speak a bit of english and are looking for money to support ther lifestyle. I've seen it in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and even Japan. The guys who I see being successful are the ones who learn the language and look for a wife who has no involvement with foreigners through work or play and cant speak english.

Wes. I came here first time at 40. I’m not particularly good looking but I spoke some Spanish, went out with a ton of girls. Most much more attractive than I am. . If you go into it with no expectations, and you go in just thankful you can afford to take a woman out every day without breaking the bank, IDK, I think a guy can enjoy himself with women of all ages. If you come into things with an attitude that you don’t expect sex, you just want to learn about the culture, improve your Spanish and have fun, the sky is the limit (and you will find sex ) . If you don’t care about the culture, stay home. People can feel that. And if you’re in your 40s, yeah, you can go out with a 20 year old and have a good time, but keep in mind, she wants to experience the world in most cases. Not settle down and be a housewife. I’m a step dad now, and I don’t regret it, but I had a rule: I never had kids so I’ll take on one, but I won’t take on 2 that aren’t my own.

I feel much more comfortable in Bogota. Medellin is like Las Vegas

Truth! Bro I everytime I go to Medellin I run into obnoxious Americans being super loud, flashy, looking for the vices that illegal in the states. Also they don't even learn Spanish, they expect the locals to understand them or are beginners Spanish level speaking ability. That's why I don't ever really stay in Medellin other than the layover night stay to head to a less tourist-y city.

@@johannesvonsaaz3987 If your traveling with someone that's cool, but please keep in mind the less tourist-y a city is the more you'll need to know Spanish. Out of all 4 major cities in Colombia. Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena & Cali. Cali is the least English speaking of them all , Ive been to Colombia I want to say 6 times now all in 5consecutive years and still haven't gone there. But I have been to all thee other cities including Manizales. Keep this rule of thumb, if your Spanish is not so good, get good lol. Not trying to insult just saying. Otherwise it's better off you only go to two locations, either Medellin or Cartagena..

De las anteriores solamente cumplo un requisito y es que he asistido a iglesias pero eso no me hace más que otras mujeres, tengo a Cristo en mi corazón e infundo valores a mis hijos pero hay gente buena en toda parte aunque no hayan contado con el dinero para estudiar en grandes universidades.

as someone who's about to hit 8 years with a single colombian mother from Bogota who's living in Santa Marta with plans of moving to the USA, I can say I only been dating Colombian women because they do hold traditional values while not being totally shut ins. I had a couple of two relationships but the most recent two lasted longer than expected.
