Hey everyone! In this video we are in Glenfinnan to complete the Glenfinnan Viaduct Circular Walk which will allow you to watch the Harry Potter Steam Train cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct and more!
Welcome to our West Scotland Series! We are so excited to start sharing this series with you all! There will be plenty of hiking trails, epic views, historical sites to explore and more during the course of this series.
Our first day was spent exploring the gorgeous area of Glenfinnan around Loch Shiel. This stunning loch and landscape have been made slightly famous by their use as the Black Lake and the backdrop for Hogwarts during the Harry Potter movies. Even more famous is the Glenfinnan viaduct at the north end of Loch Shiel, which was featured on numerous occasions as the Hogwarts Express arrived to Hogwarts!
What's great is that the Jacobite Steam Train's (one of which was used as the Hogwarts Express) still cross the viaduct 4 times a day! This means you can literally witness the Hogwarts Express crossing the viaduct for yourself!
Glenfinnan is an amazing place, full of history and cultural references, and we loved exploring it! We hope you enjoy exploring it with us!
