I bowl two-handed but throw a traditional ball at my 7s and 10s. I just find it easier. I might try these shots again two-handed, but right now I'm happy using my thumb on those shots.

Nothing wrong with that, if you can remain consistent at it. Osku Palerma used to do that.

@@BigSkyBowler -- Yeah, I had too many instances of, "Got it... got it... got it... (ball hooks on me the last second)... don't got it." Also, best of luck at your upcoming PBA tournament.

I know exactly how you feel! Main reason I'm trying to get as much rotation out of my spare shots as possible. Thank you!
It's cool to see someone as good as you at this game seem like a human like the rest of us. lol jokes aside, good video!

I have a subscription to bowlers journal. It's an excellent resource for anyone who takes bowling seriously.
Can you share your spare shooting excel spreadsheet?

for what reason are you taping your fingers? i've only just switched to 2 handed so i'm having issues getting behind the ball. i keep coming around the side which is pushing my index fingernail into the flesh beside it so i'll be trying tape for protection this weekend. but are you using tape for protection, grip or slip? i tried some test releases into the couch and there's a definite loss of feeling

I tape my fingers to protect them. Without it, I end up with cracks at my knuckles and on my cuticles which is very painful. It depends on the tape, if the tape is too thick it can definitely affect the feel. I use lanemaster fit tape, it's durable and no matter what thickness I use, it always feels great! californiabowlingllc.com/index.php/products/accessories/tape/lane-masters-new-fitting-tape

@@BigSkyBowler thanks for the reply, i'm not sure i'd be able to acquire that brand downunder without postage costing something silly. i've got some blue vise tape in a roll for now.

@@MrOsmodeus I've used the vise bioskin before as well. It's OK, but I don't like how it tears and shreds after light use. The stuff I use now holds up extremely well and the best part is it doesn't lose its adhesive.
