Ok, on third thought, I just watched Wolverine and Turpin and those two guys are absolutely pros. They have career win loss records, weight divisions, championship belts, sponsorships. Meical professionals and officials, so yes. This absolutely is a sport in my eyes and Wolverine is the current champion with a 14-4 record. And to cement its leitimacy it completely supprted by UFC and Dana White. Thats all I needed. This is legit.

On second thought, a couple of guys semmed to take it ok. The wolverine guy, he could be cut out of for this. Clearly he has been doing this a while. He took a good shot and fell back, but notice he set his fett differently and he seemed to know how to take the slap. His face didnt give much. So this is the kind of guys you can recruit for this. The black guy with with the yellow fro however looked like he was in little league or something. So Im going to say, there could be some guys cut out for this. You are going have to train train train, and train some more. Wolverine took his slap better than anyone I seen so far and he seems to not be taking much damage, the other guy, he needs to rethink his career paths before he gets decapitated. Get more guys in the competions that are like him and cut out for it, maybe design some head gear like similar to what boxers wear when they spar, set up oversight to protect slappers, lol. And ansolutely test daily for peds. Then maybe something could happen. They already got the right idea with the officials right there. I counted six referrees or officiating type personnel. Considering added another, with each slapper having his own personal EMTs on standby ready with ambulatory support if need be. And this is so dangerous, somebody needs to be watching out for the slappers, making sure they get paid way more two grand. Like a major league slappers asscociation or something. Baseball, football plays have all these protections and unions in their to protect them potential dangers and if this is going to be viable, the money needs to be strictly governed. Not all of it being controlled by sleavy don king esque promotors. I dont know how you would go about doing it, but these guys need to be financially and medically protected somhow. I going to keep an eyes on this and see how it goes. The guy Wolverine he could be a pioneer in this potential sport, as he seemed to have some experience the others didnt. The hard part is going to be finding others to compete on his level. Because every one else in this video got clobbered except him, so...we shall see. Just ease up on the slow mo shots, my god, they are beyond cringy.

The sport doesn’t need to be banned, if these guys agree to it they know the risks and agree to them as well. I do agree with your last point. Here we are in 2024 where it’s “manly” to slap each other. Slapping used to be what women and gay men would do 🤷‍♂️

The only issue with this is the first person getting slapped can do nothing even if he has a better slap.

Everybody shitting on this, I say fuck it, if you can find people stupid enough to do this shit, you might as well make a few bucks off of them. Like FFS Dana 😅, he could have opened a kickboxing promotion and brought that sport back from the dead, but instead we get this.

I seen this a while nack and I didnt actually realize its a thing, and possibly maybe a legit sport now. Is the a league, oversight commitee, what? I guess if anything gains enough poularity it can be a sport. But I got to say some of these slow motion shots make it hard to watch. Theres one guy that literally got his face wrapped around to his ear, and one guy got slapped so hard, another face grew out of his original face. He got a hematoma twice the size of the rest of his facr permanently. These are corn fed barnyard country boys, how long is the typical career. At what point does one look back at a hall of fame career and hang up his palm. When he has a nose on the back of his neck, or an ear where his mouth used to be? Cause I know a guy that if he entered this competition, somebody would die. Whats it gonna take? Somebody getting the roof of their mouth smashed to the back of the spine? Somebody is gonna die in front of our eyes or be on life support and feeding tube permanently, and that will be the end of this, mark my words.
