Sorry for the editing mistake on the last checkpoint! I had to re-render the video after my original video was just half of the video, and forgot to change back the screen after taking a screenshot for the thumbnail. It’s still so surreal that this update is actually here after so long. I’m so glad we finally get to enjoy this

People hating on difficult platformer levels feels like people back in 1.2 or something hating on the demons because of how difficult they are. Like bro, go play a normal extreme. Is it gonna be fun when its too difficult for you? No. But when you are good enough to play it, its fun

tip for anyone trying to beat this: wait for the camera to completly transition to the next room before grabbing a checkpoint, this will make it so that you don't have to watch the camera move every single attempt

This is 10x harder than an easy extreme

I feel like this level will become the bloodbath of platformers where it is so hard when it comes out but in a few years its going to be easy.

This level is basically a reference to the game “I wanna be the guy” where it is extremely hard to play.

I feel like this level is probably the best introduction we could have gotten to really difficult platformer levels, it might not contain other gamemodes but it really helps you to get used to the physics and even introduced some pretty interesting gameplay gimmicks, I really liked the 'ladder' from checkpoint 6 for example because it felt fresh and interesting

I do hope that platformer extremes try to do some more unique things in the future

My hardest is boj and i beat "I wanna be the guy" in almost less than an hour. This shows that platformer levels and normal levels should not be compared ever since they are so different from eachother.

this is such a different skillset. what for one person could feel like an insane demon, to another might seem harder than a lot of extremes. there probably won't be much consensus on difficulty for a while.

I understand why you might not like some of the level design like checkpoint placement if you haven't played I wanna be the guy, but this level is a very good representation of the game

I really enjoyed this video, very fresh breeze of air and I definitely would not mind seeing more of this kind of content in the future for other platformers

I feel like we'll see new players emerge who are more familiar with platformers. They might become the top platformer players.

I find it so inspiring how you can push through stuff like this despite not having experience with platforming games
