This is total Bobby Darin brilliance all the way…….. he could act wonderfully and left many in the business in his wake……. even some of the great actors at this time were singing Bobby's praises for his acting…… now that says something of this awesome man's talents…… no matter what Bobby did it was always done to perfection giving 1,000 percent every single time….. sad knowing that he didn't get to experiment characters more for time was not on his side…… this is a piece of real treasured unique history, just brilliant…… Bobby was a very sexy romantic charismatic man, not just in movies but in life too……. loved, remembered, missed

Bobby Should have won an Oscar for this (and not even a nomination!). The scene where he is completely naked--emotionally--is pure acting brilliance. Shirley also deserved a nod for this. She's also terrific.

This is where Bobby's film career began to take a turn . . . . it's a shame he only lived two more years. He could have been a wonderful character actor in the 1970s. That's when non-leading men types started getting starring roles.

This makes no sense. He finds out her husband isn't rich, so drops the rouse. And what if he was rich; that doesn't make her rich. And it all depends on how you define rich. I mean her husband was definitely well off. But if she really wanted Marcello why didn't she go to Rome instead of Nassau?
