Jesper is one of the biggest reasons I picked up a guitar like 25yrs ago, along with Alexi Laiho. I always want the best for Jesper. Dudes got to get it together.

I like In Flames, I like Dark Tranquility , I love The Halo Effect, I need the next album

It’s a serious joy to hear Mikael Stanne talk about all of this stuff. I could legit listen to him all day.

It's a epic album, bunch of OG legends grouping up and making true Gothenburg metal. its a fucking fantastic album \m/

I hope Jesper beats his demons and gets better. Don't want him to end up like Alexi :( love seeing all the old in flames guys together doing something. I met Peter, Daniel and Bjorn at a gig in Austin Tx in the early 2000's. They were absolutely awesome and spent quite a bit of time after gig talking to fans outside of the venue.

Please release the acoustics of the album! Gateways sounds so interesting on classic guitar!!!! ❤

I hope to see you live someday. In Flames and Dark Tranquillity are part of my life and see you saying that these songs are trying to get the "old years when you started listening heavy metal" explains a lot of the energy of The Halo Effect brings! You guys definitely brought the old flame ablaze again. I am glad that this project came to be. Two Swedish melodic powerhouses merging into one. Unreal. Just listen to the intro of " Days of the lost" " Feel what I believe " and the candid "Conditional." All of these tracks showcase the glorious 90's SMDM movement at its peak and beyond! Jasper and Staine collaborating again my goodness!

It's actually really awesome to see how much love you guys have for this music Days of the Lost felt like a blast from the past & the future! Was truly an amazing album to listen to and was fantastic to see Jesper give his 150% on this album. Looking forward to more to come!

For them it may have started as fun project of old friends, for us fans it is a new chapter in metal history ❤

They made me remember my youth when I heard them together again, it is an album that I personally consider to be in my top 5 and in first place. well done guys

This is a great album. I’m glad these guys could get together again. I also liked Jesper’s work with “The Resistance.” Marco from “The Haunted” worked well with Jesper’s style.

Guys, this Album makes me so happy. It’s on heavy rotation in my car, still, and will remain so.

I ran into Mikael some years ago at 2112 bar in Gothenburg. Nice dude and a legend.

When I heard the album, I couldn't believe what I just listened to... A feeling of euphoria, pure emotion, something that I hadn't felt for a long time. The album is absolut perfection, feels like a gift I don't even deserve. I just want to see you guys live now, hopefully someday !!

If you think rehashed riffs from 20 years ago, but not as good with a monotone vocalist are considered to be masterpieces, well you set the bar pretty low, foregone is a masterpiece

I'm seeing these guys later this month in Massachusetts and I absolutely cannot wait! I've been listening to the entire album at least once a day (mostly between my car ride to and from work) just psyching myself up in anticipation.

Since I discovered Dark Tranquility quite a while after In Flames, when I first saw Mikael I pretty much thought if there was an actor to play him in movie it should be Tony Curran as they look quite similar especially with the hair Tony had in Underworld.
