Finally made it to the end! (It takes me a while as I generally listen to these as I'm falling asleep.) This was a deeply intriguing and impressively clever tale, as I've come to expect from you. Well done, Mr. Gordon! 👏👏👏
Ian Gordon = legit talent.

And Jen too!
“I will even affirm; for these things all played a part in the single hideous scene which remains burned into my shaken recollection. But of what followed, and of the reason I was found alone and dazed on the edge of the swamp next morning, I must insist that I know nothing save what I have told you over and over again….” Keep up the good work fella and lass and stay safe.
Wow! I’m only at 28:58 and am blown away by the excellent quality of your work. Thank you so much for sharing your talents. Blessings
I really found this story interesting and I didn't see the ending coming, which is always more enjoyable. Thank you!

Second time through and just realised I didn't comment after the first time. IAN this is a masterpiece. It is totally enthralling start to finish, so glad I didn't have to wait for episodes and could just binge it all at once 😂 You're the first youtube channel for classic horror stories I discovered, and still my go-to on a sleepless night, or at home drinking theraflu haha. Your narrations are flawless and can distract me from just about anything. You pick the best stories, and the ones you write are justifiably quite comfy among the classics. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO

Hi Jenny! Thank you for the kind words -- I really do appreciate it! All the best, Ian & Jen
Fantastic story and narration. It is very well-written. That ending..... It hit me like a haymaker! I really like it. Well done, my friend. This is truly enjoyable. I really like the way you talk when you are voicing someone who is "interviewed" or being recorded. The listener hears the person sigh, whince, swallow, clack their teeth, smack their lips, etc. It is awesome.
This story was like shutter Island meets split
This was the best series of stories that I've ever listened to. I love how each story slowly came together at the end only to create more mystery. Despite that strangeness and absolute fear I feel especially in the first story I felt kinda outside myself too. Cheers and thankyou so much for this exciting experience xo
Settled in this Halloween night and hearing stories from horror Babel🌚
Man you knocked this one out of the park!!! This is one of my new all time favarite short.stories too me your up their with Authour C.Clarke and this is in my top 50 of all time short stories right between Clarke's "All the time in the world" and "Killing the morrow" by Robert Reed! I’ve actually been waiting until this was all together because otherwise I forget parts! But well done!! Great effort!! ♥️♥️♥️
Good stuff. Reminds me of a dream with a cat on my chest. Upon waking, and opening my eyes, the cat remained, looking at me for several seconds before vanishing.

That was amazing. I loved it.
Thank you! Enjoyed this very much. You are all so great 👏👏👏
I hope you do more like these. I listen to this one often
So well done! Thank you very much.
At first I thought you where going in the order of the colored rooms in the mask of the red death
Im so glad my patients paid off and you released the parts all in 1 reading.

was hard to wait for the complete story but I'm so glad I did, awesome story and fantastic production. Bravo !!
DUUUUUDE!! Wow! Ian and Jennifer, y’all just keep getting better and better. I applaud you for this totally amazing, interesting, surprising, and thoroughly creepy story! I truly LOVED this one :) I’ve got my Dad and little brother addicted to HorrorBabble now too haha. **Little bit of feedback, if I may: The sound design on this one seemed a bit wonky. I don’t know if it was intended or if it was just because I was listening in my car, but the volume differences between scenes/chapters was sometimes jarring. Small issue though, and overall this might have been one of your best! Keep it up y’all and thanks for everything you do!!!

Thanks Zack! There's some 'perspective switching' going on, which probably explains the noticeable difference in your car. It's mixed for headphones.
I really enjoyed this. Thank you.
Ian Sir, I’ve got to say that these audio dramas, and stories with the different voices are just fabulous mate. Up there with the great BBC dramas. You really do have a talent for this art form, thank you for sharing it with us all. 👏 (horrors I should say *edit*)
Nicely done mate, enjoyed that.
Lmao "I don't want to talk about it!"
Soooo good! I'm kind of slow. I never see the twists coming.
I have to say Ian your vocalization for 'Lisa' sounded very much like Erik Bauersfeld of The Black Mass radio program from 1963 to 1967 in Berkeley California. It took me until listening a couple of times for it to remind me of that program. Great work Ian and Jennifer.
This one had an interesting twist!
Amazing work!

very creative and interesting
very cool dude
Absolutely fantastic. You don't see it coming the final summing up. Well done Ian I enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait for your epic story. Thank you so much. Now where did I put those granny Smith's. I think one more should do it.
A plot twist should change how we look back at the events of the story, and if done right, should make them all seem way more interesting. *that* plot twist, was awesome.

How could i have been so foollish?!!!
I didn't hear this yet😱😂
This was an amazing story! A similar tale to the movie "Identity", in which 8 strangers meet at a motel in a storm and note they all have the same birthday. (Spoiler Alert!) This of course is because they are merely 8 personalities of the same person.

@@GRAYR189 I would like to demonstrate a better way to warn people that your comment is about to give away the plot twist and ending of the story. Write a large lettered Attention grabbing , SPOILER ALERT!!! The following comment discusses THE END OF THE STORY & Also THE TWIST ! Then leave a large gap of at least a paragraph before commencing to write the spoiler comment please. ...if you take the time to do this & we need to scroll down, our eyes are then unlikely to take in the story spoiler in your comment.

DeNiro should play Sleepy Joe in a movie. Itd be a #1 hit, best "Silent film" ever. 😂 All DeNiro has to do is pretend to do nothing. And 80 million imaginary folks will love it. 😜
