Perfect -- bar the halal slaughter. Killing an animal by letting it bleed out is inhumane and causes easily preventable suffering.
@Muthafuqa
6 жыл бұрын
yup its just inhumane
@ekersha299
6 жыл бұрын
They don't kill the animal by letting it bleed out, that is cruel; I don't think they were very clear on that so I understand why you would think that. They kill the animal first, and than let it bleed out before butchering.
@paucceri
6 жыл бұрын
I though that it was haram to eat carrion in islam -- hence the animal must be slaughtered in the act i.e. let bleed out and killed that way. Killing the animal first would make it carrion, which is haram. no?
@tosht2515
6 жыл бұрын
+paucceri Most believe the animal dies quickly due to lack of oxygen to the brain. Others feel that since the spinal cord remains intact, some oxygen is still being delivered to the brain thus prolonging the suffering. Certainly could be true. I'm no expert but I feel that saying the animal is _bled to death_ is somewhat disingenuous and a graphic attempt to bring attention to the practice. Non-halal, non-kosher are my standard but I do enjoy halal and kosher restos regularly when I travel.

Dude what’s a painless way to go out? Smack on the head, a slit to the throat, quick effective and if the animal ain’t looking even better. Originally halal started through respecting the animal and eating meat when you are hungry however if we have a choice to eat without taking a life, is it better to do so.

I am a Muslim, but a casual Muslim, I don't ascribe to Halal, but Halal and Kosher do taste much much much better, for two reasons: 1. More of the blood is drained, blood spoils meat. Look it up 2. Since animals which are slaughterd out of view of other animals, it calms them diwn no releasing adrenaline which also spoils meat. I'm glad you dont eat halal/kosher if there was increased demand it would cost more.
@blablablabla1111111
6 жыл бұрын
I agree, im not a Muslim neither. Halal meat is usually good. I get the feeling they have higher welfare standards for the animals, maybe someone else can confirm.
@mrx-yj5wi
6 жыл бұрын
blablablabla1111111 As a Muslim, albeit a non-practicing one, the animal welfare for halal varies, as the animals are mostly just sourced from farms, the real reason why halal tastes better is more of the blood is drained, blood spoils the meat. The second reason is that animals are not slaughtered in view of each other, when an animal sees another animal being slaughtered it releases adrenaline which also spoils meat.
I love that they talk like friends hangout love it
