Thank you for posting this vintage episode including the end credits with the cast list. This would be when the show took place in a LA suburb. Trying to determine when the switch to Springfield was made.

Damn! Laura is crying her ass off in the final scene. Great acting by Alice Yourman.
Ted Corday, the director, went on to co-create "Days of our Lives ".
More of the high drama of GL. I got a bit weepy. Thank you.
Is the GL lighthouse a model or actual one? If so, where is/was it located?
Sorry The opening in for Lovers and Friends the short lived soap.

"LOVERS AND FRIIENDS" was a P&G-produced NBC soap. During its brief run, the show was renamed "For Richer, For Poorer". Had a nice theme song.
I have a VHS tape of some 50's soaps - this episode is included. No idea what's intruding in the first act (at the 3:24 mark).

I heard some Military references in that bleed-through. I think it was "Sgt. Bilko" because the guy talking sounded like Phil Silvers. Lol
I wonder where Dick Grant went

I remember that storyline. During that time I came home from school asking "Have they caught him yet?"
