This is no hate… honestly Guerilla black is giving himself more credit than he is old… He was not that good of an artist and he’s trying to say that streaming platforms now help artist, that’s a built-in excuse. Everyone has the same conduit to sell back then you either did or you did it. For that part I’m not buying it. Low-key snake oil salesman and as he stated he was a scammer so it goes hand-in-hand. Smile on your face knife in your back.

This cat speaks with the energy of a preacher. Mad respect for making it through, from one 1st Chair to another. ;) Edit: I don't know that I could talk about someone so very close to me going through what he did with his first love without bawling my eyes out like a baby, every time. To listen to him speak of caring for her in her final days, what an outstanding human. I've helped 2 ex's through cancer, but I can't even imagine going through what he went through with someone dear to him. One love. Edit2: I knew I'd heard this man before...I fucks with Frank White for LIFE, ain't no other KING far as I'm concerened he's the GOAT. Time to give Guerilla Black the listen he deserves. And you know I bumped DMX first album outa respect after this interview too. 💯

and i think it’s important to point out that it doesn’t matter what color your skin is, if youre not born into the upper class, or a successful family business...if you are born into a working class family, low income community and public school....you aren’t taught about money. you might learn how to create a budget, balance your checking account and how to equate making money with getting up on time everyday and putting a full 8hours 5 days a week at that horrible soul crushing job you took cause it paid the most, and accept that this will be your number one priority for the next 40 years of your life. i was never taught about compound interest, that i could work overtime for couple years and invest all that ot pay into any number of assets which yield 3-10% apy then continue to reinvest all the interest, and i could stop working ot for the rest of my life and retire a millionaire in 20 years instead of retiring with barely enough to not he homeless in 40 years....as long as you dont live too long or have a major health issue requiring significant health care treatment. just showing kids the whole “whats a better deal 1million dollars or a penny that doubles everyday for 30days” example of the power of compound interest and then tell them that investing $5 a day instead of buying starbucks at 7% apy average starting when you’re 18 will turn into 400k by the time they retire at 65. ask them if, when they retire, if they would rather have spent around 70k on starbucks since they were 18 or give up starbucks, investing that 70k 5$ a time till they retire and have 400k in their retirement account. then ask them what else they could live without and not really notice. do you really need that youtube premium account? do you really need to buy $100 pair of sneakers every couple months, you really need to subscribe to that chicks twitch channel AND her only fans? then tell them if they can save $20 a day instead of $5 they will almost 1.6million when they retire, and thats just from investing money they would have otherwise spent on starbucks, going out to eat, the newest jordans at full retail, premium subscription accounts so they dont gotta wait 5 seconds to skip an ad, simping for chicks theyll only ever see online and even if they saw irl would never get to fuck. i magine what they could do if instead of buying a house or renting, in town...they got a good deal on some property out in the county, put in a well, electric and septic and a badass pre owned rv with one of those aluminum carport kits....and then put all the money this saves them on rent/mortage into their investment account every month...lets be super conservative and call it another 500 a month thats 3 million dollars homie. is that apartment that you can here the left side neighbors fucking in, right side neighbors kids fight over video games upstairs neighbor go piss 10 times a night wakind you up and downstairs neighbor practice their accordian really better than a 32’ rv with a 3/4 bath, full pop out kitchen/living room...nice clean well water and a gorgeous view of the country side....plus the ability to have bonfires all summer with no risk of noise complaints???

I laughed when Adam said new artists won’t use samples so they don’t have to split money. This guy won’t even mention or play a video on the stream for fear of copyright claim. At the end of the day money comes first
