I put a green scapular under my alcoholic nephew's mattress (with appropriate prayers), and the next day he admitted himself to rehab after 20 years of trying to get him to go. He is still in rehab, so I'm praying stil!

I have purchased atleast 60 Green Scapulars and put on everyone them a St. Benedict medals and given out 45 or so.... Knowing the they probably won't say the prayer, I say it multiple times aday. So many have fallen away from the church. Plus, it works on those whom have physical problems. I'M A BELIEVER !!

And as she also said, "the greater the confidence of the person praying, the greater the graces received." Just pray that simple prayer every day, for yourself or others, with confidence.

I have the green scapula that I was given in the 5th grade (30+ years ago!) I keep this scapula with me all the time. Every time I go to the doctor or have a test I always have the green scapula with me and continue to be blessed with good health. I believe in the power of the green scapula.

I wear the green scapular as a way to help with my mental health. I was originally given one by a man I met during a weekend retreat at one of the local churches in my area. He said that I needed it more than he did, and I wore it up until it was falling apart. I now have a new one that has been blessed, and I wear it as often as I am able to, or will have it close to me, as it helps me in my every day struggles.

My first time, to hear about this green scapular... I wear my brown scapular for almost 2 yrs as my necklace, without even taking off, even I’m taking my shower... I noticed that my brown scapular still the same, not rip off.. even it’s wet... I love my brown, scapular, knowing that our dear Blessed Mother is protecting me w/ our Lord Jesus Christ, anywhere, I go.

The green one is definitely easier... I just especially love it because I can gift the benefit to someone else. The brown scapular is the original/first/most widely popular... known as "the scapular".

Thats awesome. I understand about what you rare saying the rosary is slowly changing my life and blessing my life. I Dont like commenting too much but I owe it to Jesus and Mary to do so. I am a cradle catholic, who did not know my faith and for that reason failed to live my faith w love and devotion. Long story short my mother passed away in car accident in 2003. I had to pick up her personal belongings from hospital which among them were the brown and green scapulars, a rosary, wedding band..I brought them home put them in a drawer and they remained there for a very long time. One day around 14 yrs later I decided to look at them like I had other times,but this time I decided to wear both scapulars and never stopped.I did not know what they were and why I should wear them, little by little and gently Mother Mary drew me closer to Jesus. A friend asked about apparition of Our Lady of Fatima which I did not know about went online and I was overwhelmed, then while at a gathering Padre Pio was mentioned and I watched his movie. I was called to make a change to love Jesus more, to pray for conversions, offer masses for family members, put green Scapulars on my adult children cell phone cases. Go to daily mass, weekly hour of adoration, 1st Friday reparation and 1st Saturday. Comsecration to the Immaculate heart of Mary, to Jesus thru Mary. Wear Miraculous medal and have given many out to people after hearing many conversions and healings. Thanks for sharing this information.so needed in this times. I truly believe by me wearing the Scapulars with confidence and w my mothers many prayers is that I have come to truly believe and love my Lord and Savior thru the interseccion of our blessed Mother. My mom did not get to see my spiritual walk while on earth attesting to what you said, maybe we dont see the conversions but the important thing is that it happens and it is all for the Glory of God🙏

The green scapular is no longer newer scapular, is still very important to wear but there’s a new scapular and is for this time is the purple scapular. Wear them both with the green, brown or five fold scapular, just add the green and the purple with it, make sure is blessed. The purple is the protection from demons, fire and from whatever it is coming.

When Mary told Jesus to change the water into wine, it was His first public miracle. Mary knew very well that when He became a public figure, His death and crucifixion ( as foretold in the Old Testament) would inevitably follow. How can I get the green scapular. I have only come across the Brown one.

I'm back, I got a green scapular for my husband and had it blessed and put it in his car last year, he just bought a car today and I stayed home to clean and I forgot to tell him to take it out ! He called the place and they said they'll save it for him so were going to pick it up tomorrow morning, I'm praying they don't toss it and we'll get it back. But in case something doesn't go right, is it possible to get a new one and bless it and continue with the prayer? Does anyone know? I feel awful.

Sacramentals, like the green scapular, can be buried, burned, or given to a parish staff member who can bury or burn it. This way, the sacramental is returned to the earth with reverence. Yes, when you get a new one, have it blessed! Since there's no enrollment for the green scapular, it only takes a second to be blessed by a priest 😊

Yes! I've actually put it under a bottom sheet, right under the pillow. You just have to be careful with boundaries... it is controversial to do this for someone who is anti-catholic for example. If it is your family member, your child, or anyone that lives in your house.. in my opinion, it's okay. Especially if you do the laundry, wash the bedding, etc... I believe the bedding choices are yours to make. Hopefully that makes sense!

@@EverydayCatholic I just bought 10 of these after several instances of Providence. I have been praying for the conversions of my sister brother and parents. All fallen away from the church. My plan was to place them somewhere in house where they wouldn’t be found but My sister is very anti catholic, so I’m wondering if you could please 🙏 explain why this is not a good idea. I was so excited at the thought of having something present in their living space to help!

@@jennjo822 I happened to be online & just saw your message! I'm so sorry your family members have fallen away from the church. A quick explanation is we have to respect people & their boundaries. If you rented a room in their house, you could keep them in your room because that is your space. Putting something in someone else's house though is crossing a boundary. Imagine someone hiding a crystal or voodoo doll in your house. As catholics, this would be very upsetting to us. Maybe you can have the scapulars on your person or in your purse when you are near them. You can pray for them always. I hope this helps. God bless!

Hi! Yes, I love to dress modestly now. I do wear shirts like this in the summer though & wear a cardigan over it at mass. I don't find bare shoulders to be immodest but that's fine if you disagree. God bless you

There is no other book that can claim it is God's revealed word, that can claim it is inspired, God breathed and that can claim it is pure perfect. There exist no such book, unless you can do what no other catholic has done. That is to name such a book. What's ironic is that the church says that it is sacred tradition AND wait for it, sacred scripture. The church says sacred tradition is equal to sacred scripture. So when the church declared this that tradition was equal to scripture, that is all there was. Scripture was there. The bible alone. Why did the church compare tradition to the bible. Why not the any other book? There was no other book. So it's not that you don't believe the bible, it's the bible alone. The bible that was there for your church to make tradition equal to. The Mormons believe the bible but they have added the book of Mormon. The Jehovah's have added the watch tower. Why? Because each of those religions, including catholicism, their doctrines are not in the scriptures. That is the reason catholicism rejects Sola scriptura. Further proof is it's common response that "not everything has to be in the bible". What a dead giveaway in rejecting Sola scriptura.

@@liw12 the usual catholic propaganda. So if tradition was here before the bible as you say, why does the church make tradition equal to the bible. Why not the koran or some other book? Or why doesn't the church say that the bible is equal to tradition? Your church unwittingly proves Sola Scriptura. It makes tradition equal to scripture because it was the ONLY source of divine truth around. "Equal to" implies that tradition is inferior. The bible is authoritative and from God. Unlike tradition that you are told you must believe. Tradition and doctrines of your church that you can't question or you are damned to hell. Yet you heretics usurp God's word with your traditions of man.
