The Green Beret who went on a one man Rampage to save his Comrades
This is the story of one man who survived ‘six hours in hell’ and rescued his comrades against overwhelming forces in the Vietnam War.
As President Reagan said: "If the story of his heroism were a movie script, you would not believe it".
Master Sergeant Raul Perez "Roy" Benavidez aka 'Tango Mike Mike'

Thanks for posting this amazing video on my dad. I think it's important for our youth to have videos like this that they can relate to. My father dedicated his life to speaking to our youth, our future leaders of America. This is a video for all ages to enjoy. I thoroughly enjoyed it. -Yvette Benavidez Garcia, Roy's daughter and author of the children's book, "Tango Mike Mike: The Story of Roy P. Benavidez."

I met him when I was young, my Mom, my older brother, and I were at WOMAC hospital on Fort Bragg, I have forgotten why we were there, but my mom could only carry one of us. Then MSGT Roy Benavidez came over, he was there for a check-up and carried me on his shoulders and bought us burgers from McDonald's. That man is a true hero and I'm proud to have met him along with the other heroes I've met in my childhood. The world needs more heroes like him. The hero isn't the fastest, the strongest, the smartest, or the best looking. The true heroes are the men and women who no matter the trials, do what they know is right. That's what we need, real heroes.
That Mean Mexican 🇲🇽 Mi Roy is a testament to the Warrior blood that courses through our veins. Rest easy Legend.

Children should know what an American Patriot truly is ... This man truly makes America proud . When I listen to him tell his story I can't help but get teary eyed . Just walking again after a spinal injury that is supposed to put you in a wheelchair for life is amazing but qualifying for special forces after an injury like that is beyond words. The fact that he survived about 15 different injuries that would all be fatal on a lesser man afterwards and was the last one in the chopper and still had the strength to spit in the doctors face and recover makes me a bit ashamed I let myself be retired from the military due to just a TBI and shattered fibula. This man is a true hero.

It's truly a spectacle to see how a "average" human being put into the right mindset and on a path of righteousness can become something almost unnatural... This is the reason the human race has survived as long as it has one man under the right conditions can become a beast of unrivaled skill and determination.
