I love your aesthetic and can share in your love of nature and art. My deceased husband wrote a children's novel forty years ago that I just recently illustrated and self published for our five grown children and six grandchildren. I understand the satisfaction of seeing the work of your own hands "come alive". Continue on with your beautiful work, both on paper and in fiber!

Hello, Katie)) Just wanted to say: Thank you for your podcast! Watching and listening to you has been very inspiring. I started knitting recently and found you through other knitters. But it is watching you, I decided to give a try to some sewing 😃 My friends and relatives think I’m a little crazy when I talk about production of my own cloth and trying to refuse excessive buying the ones manufactured 😅 This year I am the one “sad about not going to the festival”, hope I’ll manage to next year.

I just discovered your podcast and am excited. I too knit, sew and draw. However I have cat companions rather than a dog. It looks like fabric stacked along your wall? Well we have this in common too. My cottage is tiny and I too have fabric stacked in bins up my walls. Half of my closet is dedicated to hanging fabric ready to be made up into clothes. I'm a beginner at knitting and still new at drawing but feel accomplished at sewing. LOL I also am in the process of writing my first zine. As an herbalist I want to encourage no till gardening and spread the word of the amazing medicinal value of weeds. There is a lot of highly nutritional food in our own back yards. Jack is darling, what breed is he? I love his intense glare at wherever he's looking at, his gaze is steady and full of wisdom. You live in such a beautiful area. Did you find 'Whatcha Mean, What's a Zine?' a helpful read? I wrote a first copy of my zine and it was terribly boring. I thought if one was passionate enough about a topic the end product would come naturally. Not. I'm curious about your set-up. Does someone else video tape you? Do you have two cameras, one for closeup shots? Those are beautiful socks! You mentioned it will be in the Green Bean. Do you mean the pattern will be in the Green Bean? And the pillow design is lovely as well. I'm feeling really inspired! FYI, I would love to see a tour of your work/creation room

You popped up albeit haltingly because of glitchy wifi but when is the gift of the neighbor... just as was butchering kitchenering a sock.. why is it I can do it 8 times perfectly then botch it so now? Think may use the technique you mentioned on second sock after all is just to be worn. Enjoyed the seashore and validation on Spoonflower as found it years ago but had heard no recommendations. also glad to hear about your self pub experience as joined a writer's group where the leader is aggressively pushing getting an agent to go traditional pub and I just don't want to add another layer of potential graft and confusion. You have given me the courage to just plunge into the roiling surf of uncertainty on a few things. Good luck on the zine.

Hi Katie. Congratulations, one year podcasts! I follow you from the beginning and I love them all 👍🏼. The diverse segments make it so pleasant to watch. I hope many more will follow. And then another congratulations; you have done it, your Zine is finished! What a special feeling that must be after so much work and quite a long time 😉. The cushion is looking gorcious, what a beautiful embroidery and that red zipper, so well chosen. Perhaps you can place the cushion on a shelf or something else a bit higher so dear Jack can't reach it? That way you can enjoy it yourself before you give it away. The shellbag is beautiful; the embroiderypart and your own designed fabric make it extra special. By the way, do you know Anna from Dunkelgrun podcast? She made some designs with Spoonflower as well. I love the footage of Jack and you on the beach, but of those naked feet in the water...you deardevil 😁. Thank you again for sharing and wishing you joy in everything you do, Marjan 🌷
