You could have taken military access from soviets and invaded Japan easily instead of island hopping. Japan usually doesn't have much naval superiority in it's home isles. Also you were insanely lucky with Germans not declaring war in you.

FYI, the narrative of the civil war is not that extremists rise up against a "liberal progressive" government. It's that the loyalists of the old regime, the Kemalists, rise up against the new party in power (which is why it only happens if you elect the Demokrats) and you get the Ottomans from there by allying with them against the Kemalists. It's a slightly anachronistic (and, moreso, with added Ottomans) retelling of an actual coup that occurred in 1960 after Adnan Menderes really did become Prime Minister. This part of the Turkish focus tree just fast forwards these events so they occur in the 1930s.

I did the world conquest achievement a few days ago and this video summarise it perfectly. Even with glitches, bugs, exploits or what ever it takes 3 ingame years to reach the interesting (war) parts of the focus tree and even than its just annoying as hell. Im glad i do not have to do it again.

FYI, you don't need two lines producing obsolete models. You just need to look at the conversion priority, produce one a day of the first model that gets converted, and have at least one of the other model in storage. This can make a real difference when trying to use the tank exploit as a minor.

UPDATE: The debug exploit does NOT work anymore. It's been patched!

@@pletskoo514 I went to Barbarossa 1.11.13 it was working fine for me. For certain countries you can't fix the issues such as Greece. You can only use the slot machine. That's the only benefit of using this technique.

@@Waldemarvonanhalt Paradox wiki specifies that it has to be Austria Hungary, not any Hungarian tag. Usually if there's a way around it (like just getting normal Hungary) they mention it, so I don't think that's true. That said, it is a very easy achievement since if Germany goes monarchist they will force Austria Hungary to form through their focus tree anyways, so if you get one you get the other.

The Austria-Hungary created by Austria still counts, the one created by Germany or Ottoman via that focus is made by Austria as you can see the generic focus tree. I got my achievement that way. I think it is also possible if you just hand over all the Austria-Hungary core to either in the peace deal (not sure if Czech will work) and let them form it.

Yes. Most infuriation achievements. Because you have to play ahistorical and then hope that Germany goes for the empire + go for the Austria Hungary and that Hungary or Austria doesn't fuck it up. This + the fact that turkey is boring as hell for like 3-4 in years game make this achievements a pita.

I believe the canon explanation for producing stuff without resources is that said resources represent bulk production of that resource. Even without those your nation still produces small amounts of it, just not nearly enough for reliable mass production of war materiel. In the case of aircraft, they can be thought of as being made of random citizens' aluminium utensils and rubber gloves that they patriotically donated for the war effort :P (Not literally since I get the impression the aluminium and rubber industries were just getting going in the time of WW2 so you probably wouldn't expect to find much of it in use by everyday people)

5:53 it is made out of aluminum that you got from civilians giving up their pots and pans. The tires are made out of leather.

There is a way to et 5 political advisors too. If you take the 3 mil focuses after the pact (the 2 main army ones and then the mechanise the army one) then get the silent workhorse, financial advisor and I usually grab the captain of industry. Then when you take the integrate the bank focus you gain the prime minister advisor. Thing is he overwrites one of the ones you already have, but that advisor doesn't disappear you will still have the bonuses. Change the prime minister to the spy one before the civil war and your still getting the bonuses of 4 advisors. Later down the focus chain you get a second prime minister added. This is your the advisor and he can be change as and when you wish. I tend to keep him for a bit though as the extra manpower and war support is handy for a few years.

I acheived this acheivement in 1949 without any cheats. I basicly made non historical to remake the central powers and use them to get every capital of every country i need. Suprisingly, i also got the US and Spanish capital too. I just needed to leave the faction during some random war in india which i didnt join and i easily naval invaded rome in time

I remember unintentionally doing the debug exploit but for the ussr and I got excited that I might be able to get rid of the political paranoia by the 3rd focus but then I just decided to not touch it in case the game crashed or something and eventually I got pushed hard by the Germans and gave up.

You missed an exploit. When the Soviets demand Bessarabia the event only gives them a wargoal against Romania, if a country that isn't Romania denies Bessarabia the Soviets still only get the Romanian wargoal. There was no downside to keeping it in this situation.

2.1M is just where it stops counting. I don't know if it will hold more, but it stops counting. Whenever I spam equipment with console it caps at 2.1M but not on the transports. 40M transports is funny to look at.

Well i am armenian and in Hoi4 Turkey is the 3rd most common country when i pick to play (2nd is Hungary, 1st is Greece). And i everytime choose Ottoman path because its just shorter and you dont have to fight Orkostan (Russia).

To secure syria is get the focus in September to have the highest chance and wait till November by the time France is surrendered the vichys dont have the division and they give it to u
