That's where I first saw them, only it was about a year later when I was watching reruns. I fell in love with them before they even went on stage. When they left the stage I was head over heels, and have been following them ever since. If they were nasty and ignorant like most of these so called "Pop Stars" good chance some sleazy record company dopes would sign them. There's no controversy there's no skeletons in the closet, there's no drama, there's no nastiness, no T&A Nothing for them to market to the stupid masses that think the likes of Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and company are real talent. If you took everything away from them put them in seats like these "LADIES" people would see just how much they suck! These sisters are Angels, pure, honest, real humble, kind, nice, generous, loving, family oriented for most of the POS record executives. I pray someday somebody in the recording industry with half a brain takes these Ladies in and gives him the deal that they deserve. They would never do it so I am angry for them. The US is scared that Filipinos may took over their music industry. One of the highest possible reason why Filipinos aren't given more chances. Filipinos are winning international competition in Europe and even in China that are not even english speakers. They are bringing Philippines- American culture either through singing, dancing, acting and etc. It's unfortunate though that Filipino talents aren't given the chance to record US music compositions. Sometimes I can't blame them cuz if Filipinos would dominate their music industry they'll lose their local artists. However, I'm just concern how they're obviously disregarding Filipino artist in terms of recognition in the global arena through their different platforms. We can see obviously how they're not giving emphasis on Filipino talents even after reaching world recognition. I'm so much also thankful though to many European countries on how much they respect Filipino artist without bias. I can also see european artists now using English songs in singing competitions after Filipinos starting to join and used English songs that's not traditionally used on their previous competitions or reality shows.

UK has little mix , Korea has Mamamoo , and Philippines we have 4th Impact The power of women vocals!!!!

They'd been singing together even before they enter in to big screen. Their family is gifted with this talent. They don't just have show an x factor of being a star. They don't have the package of being a star. korean stars have to go through stiff training on the skills or talent then if they pass the screening they go for surgery to enhance the physical image. I just don't know if they had nose enhancement already.

I wish someone would create a documentary about the Filipino music culture/scene highlighting the fascination and effortless skill with power ballads.

Not a bad idea. I also started young, my practice songs were Queen Whitney and Michael Bolton ballads . I only gravitated towards RandB when I was in my teens. I'm part Filipino, Chinese and Spanish. But my pure Filipino relatives are very able as well, my Aunt can do Karen Carpenter, wow. I haven't noticed. Really. 😂 I thought we just love to sing.

Most of the Filipino singers grew up in mountains, rice fields and streets. Did not even undergo any vocal trainings or lessons. Life has never been easy for some Filipino who grew up in that environment but they sing just to prevent from over thinking of poverty and starvation.

It’s better for them that they didn’t win. They can peruse their own music and not be controlled by the X factor label.

From time to time I like to watch this video, and be amazed again with the great performance of these amazing Filipino girls. On this occasion, I focus my comment on the moment 2:58 where the group gives the voice to her older sister Almira so that she can unleash the awfull power of her voice. That facial expression, look of pride and love in Mylene towards Almira is priceless. It seems that Mylene says: there you go all that, dreamers, so that you know the "quality of the marshmallow", a very nice popular Mexican saying. Always a delight to watch this video, thanks to the amazing Cercado sisters.

I'm a fan of all of them, I love 4th Impact, Morrisette is in a class of her own, and Katrina could sing the phone book and I'd listen in amazement. No need to compare them, they all bring something beautiful to the table, don't they?
