S6 was peak rocket league. I'm from Europe, but I was sure as hell cheering for C9 to beat Dig that day. Absolute madness, it was 3AM in the morning and I had to go to work that day, totally worth it.

Anything about C9 is always a pleasure to revisit, glad u liked it!

It's just the whole storyline that made this one of the most memorable RLCS seasons ever.

Say it to this day, Gimmick is the reason. Squishy was flashy, and it got him a lot of attention, but Gimmick made incredible shots, saves, and passes throughout that RLCS season.

Important distinction that you got wrong: Dignitas did not win the Season 4 World Championship, Gale Force eSports did. It was the same roster that for the next Season (5) would be acquired by Dignitas to win the Championship a second time, being the only ROSTER that has ever won two World Championships. The only ORGANIZATION to win two World Championships, although with different rosters, is Team Vitality.

You’re absolutely right, I guess throughout the vid I had to refer to the roster by a particular name, and choosing Dignitas seemed appropriate since that’s what they’re most well known for. Great insight!

Only started watching RLCS a couple years ago but love to see the history that made the game what it is today. Thank you for the insight into that beautiful moment

There's something special about Gimmick's reaction after they would score and get a lead every game. It is so genuine and Gimmick specifically brought a tear to my eye. Hearing him yell "cmon!!" after he scored the first goal in game 3 of the first series gave me the most goosebumps ever. I'm so happy for Gimmick man...He is the most underrated and best player ever. Seeing Squishy replicate the mechanical goals and looking over in shock and surprised as well by the teams chemistry and Torment patting everyone on the back is so amazing. This team was nothing short of spectacular, everyone was so proud. Lastly, seeing Torment emotional winning mvp, Squishy still all cool and collected very proud of the team, and most importantly Gimmick's perpetual smile lifting the trophy put the biggest smile on my face.

Important to note that Gimmick was not on Iris but Lachinio was. After losing to SettoDestroyX Lach was dropped and gimmick was brought on for Dreamhack Atlanta

Yeah ik lachinio was on the roster and gimmick was the sub for a time, so by technicality they were all on the same roster, even if it was for a brief 1-2 month period. As I mention in the vid, they rly start as a squad under the muffin men tho

panda was a paid actor in that series lmao

Love the documentary, just one thing, IRIS consisted of Squishy, Torment and Lachinio, Gimmick was the sub :)

Yeah like I’ve said to a couple ppl ur right he was the sub, but there was actually a brief 1-2 month window where gimmick was registered on the main team. They didnt compete during this period, but I thought it was worth mentioning

I legit don’t know how your subs are so low. you should be at least 50K. just to note the 50K i think you should have would be 40K due to the current trading scandal. anyway, great work!
