The Greatest Race | MXoN
Спорт
The Motocross of Nations is without doubt the greatest race there is. We went to Matterley Basin for the 2017 race to soak in the atmosphere and catch the racing. This is our edit from an unforgettable weekend. Congrats to Team France for yet another win and to Team GB for giving us all something to cheer about.
Thanks to Youthstream/ MXGPTV for inviting us to come and film. check out their KZread channel here; / mxgptv

Absolutely loved being there, will always remember that day! GBR getting podium and that crowd going mental gave me goosebumps. Looking forward to mxgp next!

Uhhh... Lets hold it in a random field in Britain in the middle of the fooking storm season eh.
it had to rain, typical of europe, with no rain would have been a better show
Motocross is awesome .Tomac thinks supercoss is much more important 😖

TOMAC WAS SHIT SCARED OF GETTING HIS ARSE KICKED..THE AMERICAN RIDERS LOVE TO BLOW SMOKE UP THEIR OWN ARSES.
Great video and spectator appeal, as far as racing is concerned you are not accelerating when your rear wheel is not on the ground. Jumping is for acrobats trampoline and trapeze artists, all good but it is not racing. Go watch some speedway to see real racing. I think we have a few too many confused spectators. David

No, I will check it out. I have seen a lot in my 55 years of off road competing and riding. Don't get me wrong. The new generation of riders are better than ever with fantastic equipment, but I still think the promoters are doing a little too much pandering to the wow factor for the spectators. Original scrambles come motocross tracks were fenced off in natural terrain. The strength skill and stamina required for these events were second to none. Why confuse the essence of this great event with circus tricks?

ropany, Ok I just watched the 2006 Washougal battle between Carmichael and Stewart. Good stuff, not stadium but still too much air. I still think it would have been better on a natural track with real suspension not jacked up for the exaggerated jumps. I still ride in the California desert in natural terrain on a two stroke KTM 300 exc that has too much suspension. The bikes on the market today have distorted suspension for the real riding we do which I attribute to the exaggerated attention to 'air'. The fun happens on tierra firma.

you must be looking at the wrong sport then: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dXVml62uo7CYkrg.html (but I find the bikes here have more or less just as much suspension). motocross has always been about jumps: i.pinimg.com/564x/9f/a6/d5/9fa6d56362465a1c3c7e4487809145cd.jpg
