The Greatest Player in NFL History (NFL Legends)

Спорт

I love Marino and always will best to ever throw the pig skin IMO but Tom has reached a level at the Quarterback position that is not even fair anymore he's the smartest i've ever seen unrivaled at read defenses and his throwing arm is highly underrated but more importantly he's the greatest leader the game has ever seen! and it's sad that the Brady hate is so real I never liked the Patriots but if you're telling me that he's not the best to ever do it I have to question your knowledge of the sports or has a hard time facing reality! This guy is insane 7 rings seriously? IDK if this will ever be matched he's just the ultimate winner a nice guy with a killer will this season he was out prove something...That he is The Greatest Player in NFL history

I am a die-hard Colts fan we can't help where we're from and who we root for all jokes aside and with great pain have to face the reality that Tom Brady really is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. From all aspects whether he was with New England or any other team he would have adapted based off his work ethic. Bill Belichick had nothing to do with Tom Brady success as for the team Bill Belichick may be sneaky oh, but you can't say he was never prepared, I don't condone cheating and it cost us a championship but this is about Brady and his excellence I have never seen anything like it until Patrick Mahomes, even though it's hard to swallow all us Colts fans need to accept that yes Peyton Manning was a field General and his brain was one of the greatest in NFL history, But ultimately Tom Brady is undisputedly #1.

I grew up in Boston, 6 miles from Fenway Park and The Boston Garden. I started watching the Pats religiously during Drew Bledsoe’s rookie year in 1993 and up until recently I rarely missed a game. I was stationed up in Alaska for 3 years during my military career from ‘06-‘09. I am not much into hunting and fishing, I do LOVE camping. I MISS ALASKA DEARLY!! I wish I had appreciated it even more then I did when I was there. I was stationed outside of Fairbanks/ North Pole. Once I was deemed a fully disabled combat veteran I was absolutely considering moving back up there but as you know better then anyone, it’s simply TOO EXPENSIVE to try and survive solely on a VA check. I met so great people who lived up there permanently and several guys I knew in the military made sure they could finish their careers up there so they could retire and stay. What’s amazing is I watched Tom Brady for his entire career, only missing out on most of the ‘08 and ‘09 seasons due to being deployed during those years. Unfortunately by the time I had a job and could buy tickets to go see him the tickets were impossible to obtain and then when I got stationed in N.C. in ‘09 (I’ve been here ever since) I was never able to get all the way to charlotte to see him when the Pats came down. My father on the other hand who never really cared about football, got to see him 4 times longer after I had left home for the military!! You wanna talk about being pissed!! Although truth be told I was glad at least he got to see him and had a good time with my step mom and her family. Anyways sorry for the long comment but anytime I hear about Alaska it brings back GREAT memories.

The thing that cracks me up about the haters, they all shit on Brady because of the way he looks, they’ll talk about their hero’s and how great they are at the game, they Never give Brady credit for his actual skill level. They’ll say he’s a great leader, a threat team mate, they all give him credit for everything but the physical act of playing the game. The only thing Brady has beat’s more than every team in the NFL is the media

If anyone doubts Brady is the smartest player to ever throw the ball, just watch that Super Bowl against the Seahawks. That one above all others demonstrates his mastery of the position.

I predict Tom will keep going until he is 47 and win another 2 rings. Tom, you are the epitome of what a leader should be. Lead by example and set the bar high for the next generation to both learn from as well as, strive to attain. This world can be cruel and unmerciful. You have shown so many that when doors get shut; work your butts off and kick the door in and make your own destiny just as you have done yours. I have watched how Brian took Scott’s starting spot and then you took Brian’s at U of M. That same mentality carried over to the pros when you made the most of your opportunity to establish yourself and your gift and take Drew’s starting spot. And as they say, the rest is history. I have much respect for the Manning family and the way Archie taught humility and passion for the game to his boys and how to do things right. You are the Archie of your family. I look forward to seeing your lineage possibly follow in your footsteps.

People don’t realize his passes are so acutely thrown, it doesn’t matter who his receivers are, I can only name one superstar receiver that Tom has had, and that’s Randy Moss, ten years from now the only wide receiver you’ll be able to name will be Randy. I can’t name any of the receivers Tom had in his first 5 to 7 years, but Brady was still winning. I hate to say it but Tom Brady is the Greatest Leader, Competitor, and the Most Accurate Quarterback that has ever Lived! He probably has a couple of Super Bowl’s Left In Him! Now we all know it’s Tom Brady and NOT Bill Belichick! Or we should know it!! Yes Tom is that great! I hate to admit this fact, but how could anyone argue anything else?

A little late coming in. I don't see why either of these men are being criticized, or more here, Bill Belichick. Bill Belichick is the greatest coach of all time. Unfortunately for those who have to pick a side, you are all wrong to do so. Okay, Belichick got stuck in a mental rut. Don't we all get stuck? And unstuck... at a price? And get stuck, and unstuck and ...? But, no, I'll just give one "stuck" to Belichick. Both of these men are equal. We all knew, sat, and waited, but knew, the end of Tom Brady's career in New England wasn't going to be pretty. And every year, you can bet, that even with all the success, Bill Belichick had to stress over his decisions when forming a team each year. Tom didn't have that stress. All Tom had to do was to incubate his skills. Like, Spock in the Star Trek 4 movie; was no longer his same precision calculating self; to the last milli-micro-nano-pico-cosmic infinitely perfect self, Spock had to calculate how to get back to their future century, back to the day the Earth was being destroyed by a Whale Spaceship. Spock had to guess. He never made a guess before, but now he had to made a guess. And where did it land them? Right at the exact moment they needed to be there, and the Klingon Space ship sailed back and through the "pilons" of the Golden Gate Bridge. That's one hell of a gyess. That's Bill Belichick. Bill Belichick brought the coaching game to another level. Bill would have still won Super Bowls. I doubt Tom could have done as well with any other coach. I mean, come on, really? Hey, some days won't end, ever, some days pass on by. I'll be working here forever, at least, until I die. Damned if you do, damn if you don't. I'm supposed to get a raise next week, you know damn well I won't. Working for a living. The bottom line is: you all have to watch some Bill Belichick documentaries, or read some. Belichick had two superbowl rings before he coached the Pats. But no. Let me say. Belichick earned those rings, he wasn't a bystander. Would Parcells have won two Superbowls without Belichick. My guess? No. Sorry, Mr Parcells, you are the greatest too. No doubt So, Tom Brady has 7; Superbowl rings. Did you all forget? So now Belichick still has 8. Bill Belichick has 8: superbowl rings which he earned, like a plug in the electrical socket. Bill Belichick 8 superbowl rings Tom Brady. - 7 superbowl rings It may be here at the end, Belichick still has a shot at more rings. We'll have to wait and see. Just separate the two in your mind and give each man their just due praise. Do not tarnish either man. Enough of that. Grow up. But I'm not going to ride with that, "All Brady wanted was Belichick to put his arm around him." Not!

Never forget the greatest NFL season, ever, where "The Brain," Bob Griese, won with the only team to go undefeated all the way through the Super Bowl. Catch him if you can? Lol He might have been the most intelligent QB, too? It had that nice cannon of an arm and played extremely smart by diving from tackles rather than [DUH] trying to break a tackle. Long live this Hoosier boy! If he had Brady's height, I do believe he would be right there with him? At only 6ft., that does limit your potential.

I cannot say that he is the best QB of all time, certainly NOT the BEST player in NFLhistory (he never tackled anyone). Reason I say that is because of this and it does NOT take anything away from him but since he began his amazing career.....he NEVER played in the era where the QB could actually be hit and he NEVER EVER took the shots that let'ssay a "Dandy" Done Meredith took. Also he plays in an era where WR/TE's can roam FREE with not much fear of a Charlie Waters, BIll Bates, Cliff Harris, Jack Tatum. Atwarer, Dennis Smith, Roy Williams, Darren Woodson (yes lifer Cowboys fan here) l,, aying them out over the middle or the sidelines. Also, Imagine if Aikman, Staubach, Bradshaw, Fouts, etc how many yards they would have playing in the era pf "PASSBALL?" I am taking Staubach and Aikman over him.

Now look fans, let's be realistic. Tom Brady is NOT the best to "lace them up." That untouchable being would be, the man, Jim Brown. Sure, Tom Brady is the best of the best, QB's, I'll not debate that opinion, but come on, Jim Brown was the toughest, smartest, sob to ever "lace them up." Thanks for agreeing. ;)
