Given the comparisons in the comments to "Press Play" I had to check out that trailer, and this movie does look like a carbon copy of that one. But this trailer is *much* stronger than the Press Play trailer. Not sure why though...

I think this trailer focuses more on the uniqueness of the situation, while the other trailer feels more like "I can time travel, and I can possibly save a loved one. Oh, and I can do it by playing music I associate with them."

I've thought about this as a movie idea before. I love listening to my iPod and i have a eclectic taste in music which span from 60s,70s,80s,90s,00s and modern day. I always thought it would be cool to have film in which the music on the iPod can transport you back in time. If, you're listening to Heroes by David Bowie you travel back to 1977 or Award Tour by A Tribe Called Quest and you travel back to 1993.
Reminds me of the movie with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour with the time travel element.

I haven’t ever seen this movie at least not yet. But it reminds of a book I read by Josie Silver called The two lives of Lydia Bird. Very similar plot, but no music. Lydia is not really reliving the past. She’s in present day, but she goes back and forth from her real life to a world that is created when she is sleeping and taking these sleeping pills that were prescribed to her after her finance died, in that life he still alive. It really a beautifully written book. So if you like this movie I suggest you check this book. Plus like her other three books because they are amazing.
