I partly disagree with you both imo. He deserves more attention yes but not more than 99% of other arwmrestlers to me, if you were armwrestling on EvW Lagia i would naturally have more attention towards you by a mile compared to him and i mean it because you give far more outside of the table. I have bought each east vs west and when his arm is on the table i watch but without excitement unless it's from his opponent personnality such as alexander. Outside of the table he does not deserve attention i don't know the guy, on the table his physical abilities however are admirable. I wish i was biased but i'm not, i can't even remember any of his post match interviews because they're all not memorable.

Really appreciate the round-ups of the historic matches. Too often we get caught up on the headline acts. When there is actually some high level depth in the other matches.

He speaks softly, but man does he carry a big stick. To me, what is most impressive is he doesn’t strike fear in his opponents hearts so they come in believing they can beat him. They come in confident in their best shape ready to defeat Samushia, and he battles their best version and still comes out on top! The guy is a legend.

He is one dominant champion!

What a legend what accolades in the sport especially in this event, on a record streak, only guy that has the potential to beat him right now is Maiorov

I think Nurdaulet, Engin, Viorel, Gashevski, Digurov are potentially his biggest threats

Just my opinion.. I think the reason why people dont see Samushia as a big champion (yet), is that his opponents were not really all that though. Not to say they werent good enough to face him, but definitely not enough for fans to get really excited.. Nurdaulet will be the very fisrt ´´real´´ challenge and the first real champion defense! If David wins this one, it will boost him massively in fans eyes!

Bozhidar was not a lesser opponent by any means. And tuzuyev was not any less than Aidarkhan last time I watched their match

I disagree with everything you said. You being unaware of his opponents previous accomplishments doesn't meang that they were lesser opponents. It really just means that you're not educated about his opponents. He faced multiple division WAF champions, EvW champions, Moldova Cup winners .. and he beat them all. Annoys me when uneducated or ignorant fans discredit super accomplished champions.

I mean its true that there are still big challenges left for him, but the challenges that he has overcome so far are the cream of the crop (or whatever the saying is lol). These two things arent mutually exclusive. Plus the consistency that it takes is unreal

Sasho should really be in this category. Walking at about 88kg while having a bit of a belly.Sasho should really just drop to 85 and things would be very different. Also there's Plamen... Hope he gets to pull in EvW one day. Until then, we have a great and worthy champ in Samushia. Just saying with those two Bulgarians there are still great match ups with him to be made!

Samushia is so incredible. Personally I want to see him move up to 95 kg. He has basically cleaned the 85 kg division.

People need to make more promotional videos of Samushia, cuz despite being "the greatest EvW champion EVER", this guy lives like a hermit with almost zero social media presense, non-existent charisma and zero desire to learn even a little bit of English like Levan/Ermes have done. When i think about Samushia, one person from boxing comes to mind - Guillermo Rigondeaux, the guy is one of the brilliant boxers in history, but noone knows nothing about him since he's similar to Samushia in terms of self-promoting.
