If you have a friend with you, you’ll never be without a bipod.
Just when I was looking for something to watch, this pops up. Couldn't be more elated
I always “like” the video before I even watch it when Rinella is in it. His almost all encompassing knowledge about the nature of the area he’s in as a whole is valuable and worth sharing.
My new favorite quote from the end of the video " Make yourself do a lot of things that you will be happy to look back on and make sure you have plans for more of those things in the future". I love it. not for everyone but for me.. it sums it up.
Thank you Steve and crew for putting these up on KZread. I will never be able to hunt like you folks do, but I sure love sitting down with my kids and watching these. Thank you!
When I went bear hunting, I found bear scat. Picked it up, felt it, smelled it, tasted it, threw it down and said to myself, wow! Glad I didn't step in it!

Love it!!!!! I got an elk last month and life is awesome. I made one full rack in my smoker a few days after ward. The family devoured all of them. Best part of the hunt was being out with my dad and best friend!!!!
Enjoyed every minute of the two episodes, Great job guys!
How am I just now discovering this channel. I’ve been wanting to binge this on Netflix and they have limited episodes. Thank you for putting this on KZread.
We need more episodes with steves brother !
The tough hunts are my favorites!!!
I think the thing I like most about Steve, is in my mind he's like the ultimate survivalist. As pertaining to wild game and really being able to sustain life out in rough country. Yet the guy is still down to earth and simple in a sense that he gets a fire going with a cheapo gas station Bic lighter.
A great time was had by all. You guys enjoyed all of the time that you shared together. Your communication was spot on. You guys had a plan and you followed through with it and you were blessed to take 2 separate kills. And one delicious meal.
Love when Steve and Danny hunt together.
A beautiful comment at the end. My hunting memories, especially with my dad, are something ill cherish for the rest of life. Thank you Steve and the meat eater crew for such good hunting content.

The music playing while you were cleaning and moving the bear out remind anyone else of Crocidile Dundee? 12:45 mark
That's cool you were in the Tok area. It's kind of mind-blowing just how large those management areas are. Like I flew into Fairbanks last year to fight a fire that was in the Tok management area in a village called Fairway, which is still loosely called Tok. The amount of huge sheds out there in the valley is almost overwhelming. I think most of the game stayed away because of all the bears though. The whole two weeks dropped in with no access to civilization, we saw no moose, elk, deer, or caribou. Just bears. We finally saw a moose driving out on highway 2. The whole time, I just wanted to be in the Yukon or in the Brooks Range with those giant glaciers you can see flying in. That terrain looks a lot more bearable than the tussocks.
Was that bear undercooked? I know Steve's history with trichinosis. I don't hunt, but I do a lot of cooking. Would it be unreasonable to bring an instant read thermometer on these hunts?
