Your excitement and love for the game is infectious. This video was the first time I wondered, what would PhiDX be like as a commentator?
Had to hop on this instantly. Been into tekken since 2018, and out of all of this time, these analysis videos are hands down the best tekken content on this site. Keep em comin, cant wait to see yo in 8.

Your cloak is being shipped my friend
Combo or not, Sergie has to be the goat of delayed hopkicks. And if that isn't enough the mixup > neutral jump > 4x hellsweep, man is crazy.
15:37 ah the beauty of the one-take video 😳
15:37 bruh im dying why does he make the pause flow so well
6:57 I'm glad I wasn't the only one laughing at Phi aayig "nice d3." 😂
im coming to tekken from sf, and i really love your videos. your enthusiasm for the game is infectious and your analysis is super informative and helps me understand tekken in general and the nuances of certain matchups. ty phidx, excited for tekken 8 and seeing more of your breakdowns soon

Welcome and thank you!
great video man! Super cool to watch some hype sets I wasn't able to see!
I was the one who sent you the match, PhiDX. Nicely done. 🎉
These videos are what I needed after I couldn't be awake for Bronson's streams back in 2019. Those scrub match videos were good for identifying what one might need to improve on in general playstyle and execution. Your videos explain some complicated concepts simply and well. Thanks for these videos.
Absolute pure adoration for any kazuya players on this level. Using the most difficult character in the game so effectively against the most bullshit character in Tekken history, piloted by one of the world’s greatest players, is astonishing. I aspire to this level. I’m a gold rank kazuya player, so i Know the Work this guy put in. I don’t care if you win or lose. Bringing kazuya to this level of tournament play is so rare, and even more Beautiful!!

Your passion coming out towards the end was infectious and great to see.
0:48 Don't forget, the GOAT Kaz from Peru, Nene the dragon
Loved this video man!! Beautiful commentary!! 🎉🎉🎉 We welcome more !
Excellent video. I'm not a Kaz player but Sergie Mazter games are always entertaining. There's a great Kaz v DvlJ match: Nene the Dragon vs Qudans. MYK commentary make it really hype too :D
“Because Leo is coming into him… pause - let’s check this out” 😂
Fantastic content lately, awesome work.
phiDx lovin every sec of it
Atif picked Leo to beat Anakin 2-0 on 2 occasions. At 2022 twt regional finals, he picked Jin, Bryan, feng, jack and Marduk. At thaiger uppercut, he picked Marduk to beat lowhigh and Pinya. Atif can play with every character. His Jin, Steve, Bob and Leo are poetry in motion. A proper legend of Pak Tekken scene. Many Pakistani and foreign players call him the best player in the world for a reason
Love your videos dude
I see the grind PHI!
I can’t believe Leo is that good a counter pick to Kaz. Yet now I’ve seen it, it makes perfect sense.
my man phidx channelling that lars hair with those headphones on
When it comes to how you represent at IESF, each country needs to have a tournament and the winner(or worst case, 2nd or 3rd place) is elected to go at the tournament. Each country had to do one, I think most of them have been posted on KZread. Even Romania had one for the first time in YEARS. it really was an awesome event.
I BELIEVE PHIDX HAS FOUND HIS CALLING. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Keep em coming, brother 🫡

Can we all appreciate that PhiDX's hair style is starting to evolve to Noctis's Fantasy Style.

Haha I used to have it cut like Noctis before, but I can only get it with Japanese stylists
me seeing Kazuya doing well, then reading the title of the video again i dont like where this is going lmfao OK NEVERMIND IM POGGING
I like to play Leo but even though I don't play the best, I kinda wish the character was less over tuned.
Imo from S1 to S4, Leo was one of the most slept on character in the game. Look at S4, literally almost every single character lost their wall spike into unscaled hit or got nerfed, like Feng, Maven, Julia, Leroy... etc. My guy here spikes into an AOP death fist like it is nobody's business lmao that with his infamous -11 OB low CH launcher.
This was an insane set. I will say this set demonstrates why I personally don't believe that any Tekken match really has a point where it "becomes easy to win from here" because getting clean hits requires a read of some kind. I think Sergie Master really understood how Atif likes to play, although I agree the mistakes on Akuma were unforced, I think they were a result of his normal tendencies when playing Akuma and his focus on how he wants to approach on Akuma, I think Sergie's defense really forced Atif to overaggress into Kazuya and as you mentioned later on, Kazuya is very explosive on defense and it shows in the amount of damage (and the number of options for those punishes. ... Except 4 hell sweeps in a row. I have 0 idea how that worked out logically 😅). Leo felt like almost a specific response to what he was getting clipped by on Akuma and the variance of offensive timing (and less commitment on pokes compared to game 1 imo) paid off well. Personally I think Atif really showed his mastery of the basics of Tekken here throughout the series, aside from errors, his movement and experience shows through. That said, Sergie Master earns my full respect for every single time he just lets it rip. Oh my god, like every single match in the series, win or lose. He refused to back down. I absolutely loved that and there were definitely points where he could have taken the whole series.
Can't tank the "PAAWWZE" ☠️
Leo is actually really good

Nene The Dragon got absolutely demolished 0-5 against Masa (Leo). I think Peru might have trouble dealing with this character at the top level.
🐧
atif butt's leo is sick he makes her look like feng
Check out tekken 8 panda trailer
I'm a simple man, i see kazuya i click 😅
I get P#####d off so bad, that I would go searching for the M F just to beat him once
Nerves are a real thing in tournament, I took second place in my first tournament because of not thinking properly and overreacting to silly things.
Just commenting for the algorithm bro - don't want to repeat comments I've mentioned before lol
Everytime someone talks about Leo they mention easy execution or how easy the combos are but I just don't see it. Having to constantly enter a stance just feels uncomfortable to me and her combos feel kinda tight to pull off. Like I have to rewire my brain to play w/ Leo compared to other characters. Gotta hit the lab more.

Yeah I think a hard learning curve is different from hard execution. Some hard-to-learn things become very consistent/easy with practice, some things remain decently difficult (PEWGF)

Leo is mad broken

He's good but wouldn't say he's broken at least an A tier.

@@huzaifawajid4333 I agree he's not broken but i think at this point he's S tier, there's not a SINGLE tier list made by Pro players where he isn't top 10 and he has the best poking in the game with a answer for literally everything
Watching this match being Pakistani give me heart attack Still a heart attack.
Phidx, I have said this before. You should start commentating on matches professionaly.
props to Atif for coming back from such a terrible situation, even though he played Leo, i hate that character lol
for the people who says shit about atiff cuz he play akuma, definetly not carried insane tekken player
Another interesting thing to mention is the infinite pick. Atif in the first 2 games showed that he didn't ever go for F4 cancel combos, so picking infinite would mean Atif is guaranteed doing suboptimal combos. The very first round Atif gets a launcher towards the end and doesn't kill, giving Kazuya a chance to recover, when F4 cancel combos would have killed him outright there.
