Combo or not, Sergie has to be the goat of delayed hopkicks. And if that isn't enough the mixup > neutral jump > 4x hellsweep, man is crazy.

These videos are what I needed after I couldn't be awake for Bronson's streams back in 2019. Those scrub match videos were good for identifying what one might need to improve on in general playstyle and execution. Your videos explain some complicated concepts simply and well. Thanks for these videos.

Absolute pure adoration for any kazuya players on this level. Using the most difficult character in the game so effectively against the most bullshit character in Tekken history, piloted by one of the world’s greatest players, is astonishing. I aspire to this level. I’m a gold rank kazuya player, so i Know the Work this guy put in. I don’t care if you win or lose. Bringing kazuya to this level of tournament play is so rare, and even more Beautiful!!

Atif picked Leo to beat Anakin 2-0 on 2 occasions. At 2022 twt regional finals, he picked Jin, Bryan, feng, jack and Marduk. At thaiger uppercut, he picked Marduk to beat lowhigh and Pinya. Atif can play with every character. His Jin, Steve, Bob and Leo are poetry in motion. A proper legend of Pak Tekken scene. Many Pakistani and foreign players call him the best player in the world for a reason

When it comes to how you represent at IESF, each country needs to have a tournament and the winner(or worst case, 2nd or 3rd place) is elected to go at the tournament. Each country had to do one, I think most of them have been posted on KZread. Even Romania had one for the first time in YEARS. it really was an awesome event.

Imo from S1 to S4, Leo was one of the most slept on character in the game. Look at S4, literally almost every single character lost their wall spike into unscaled hit or got nerfed, like Feng, Maven, Julia, Leroy... etc. My guy here spikes into an AOP death fist like it is nobody's business lmao that with his infamous -11 OB low CH launcher.

This was an insane set. I will say this set demonstrates why I personally don't believe that any Tekken match really has a point where it "becomes easy to win from here" because getting clean hits requires a read of some kind. I think Sergie Master really understood how Atif likes to play, although I agree the mistakes on Akuma were unforced, I think they were a result of his normal tendencies when playing Akuma and his focus on how he wants to approach on Akuma, I think Sergie's defense really forced Atif to overaggress into Kazuya and as you mentioned later on, Kazuya is very explosive on defense and it shows in the amount of damage (and the number of options for those punishes. ... Except 4 hell sweeps in a row. I have 0 idea how that worked out logically 😅). Leo felt like almost a specific response to what he was getting clipped by on Akuma and the variance of offensive timing (and less commitment on pokes compared to game 1 imo) paid off well. Personally I think Atif really showed his mastery of the basics of Tekken here throughout the series, aside from errors, his movement and experience shows through. That said, Sergie Master earns my full respect for every single time he just lets it rip. Oh my god, like every single match in the series, win or lose. He refused to back down. I absolutely loved that and there were definitely points where he could have taken the whole series.

Everytime someone talks about Leo they mention easy execution or how easy the combos are but I just don't see it. Having to constantly enter a stance just feels uncomfortable to me and her combos feel kinda tight to pull off. Like I have to rewire my brain to play w/ Leo compared to other characters. Gotta hit the lab more.

Yeah I think a hard learning curve is different from hard execution. Some hard-to-learn things become very consistent/easy with practice, some things remain decently difficult (PEWGF)

Another interesting thing to mention is the infinite pick. Atif in the first 2 games showed that he didn't ever go for F4 cancel combos, so picking infinite would mean Atif is guaranteed doing suboptimal combos. The very first round Atif gets a launcher towards the end and doesn't kill, giving Kazuya a chance to recover, when F4 cancel combos would have killed him outright there.
