Similar story from my high school lacrosse senior season....never won against a local rival in HISTORY. First time seeing them again my senior year and down by 4 during the half. Slowly made our way back until we scored the winning goal in the last minute of the second half....best moment of my life so far #webeatBC

hey katie. i just wanted to say this story inspired me, last week actually. i play soccer and lacrosse, however this story was for my middle school soccer team. there are two teams we’ve never beaten before, EB and MR. (not giving the full names so i don’t getting murdered) so the day comes we have to play EB. Never in the 14 years that the team as been coronated have we beaten them. We all had the mindset that we were going to lose and that it was okay. however, after an intense back and forth game we beat them 2-1. my first reaction was to cry, and i did. thank you for inspiring my team and myself to push ourselves and triumph over the rest. love you!

my middle school team did the same thing. there was this one team in our division called Christ the King and after 3 seasons of flag football we finally beat them in the first round of playoffs and we lost the second round but to this day we all still talk and our group chat name is "We still beat Christ the King"

Your high school basketball career sounds a lot like my high schools girls basketball team. We made it to the final four for states but ultimately lost to a pretty good team but our record was amazing and all the starters and one of the girls who was like the first sub made the team as great as it was.
