it's nice to know that in this moment from all over the world many strangers are listening to this beautiful music. someone Is crying, others smiling, someone Is studying or falling asleep, someone else is hoping that tomorrow will be a better day. even if i will never meet you i wish you a happy life. however you too are part of my happiness when in the evening or in the morning we will find ourselves here listening to the same beautiful music. @@jamiemcateer1086 My partner and I moved from Toronto-ish to Vancouver Island for the summer and fall of 2020 (scary pandemic times) and it was a life changing experience. I quit my miserable job and started working on a new music project in a little basement apartment- one of those early songs "Moss" made an alexrainbird playlist for the first time in early 2021! This one has my wife and I's song Flow (1:31:40) and we're grateful to be here! I truly believe being surrounded by such beautiful nature and getting outside of my comfort zone was a catalyst for creativity + major personal growth and I hope the same for you my friend! If you're heading through Nanaimo, we loved restaurants Asteras and La Stella- both pricey but a real treat. Piper's Lagoon was our little nature utopia. Another hidden gem is a smaller town called Cumberland just a bit north from there. If you head to Tofino, Pluvio in Ucluelet is an unforgettable boutique hotel + restaurant. Hope this helps.
