I love how lovely they were with each other! Seth’s laugh, and all the judges brought good insightful critiques, the diversity of country of origin before Canada. I know next season we said at the same time how great indigenous potters, and the potters who have come to Canada from China, Vietnam, Syrian, Iranian, afghani, Korean, Nigerian, Congolese, Kerala Indian folks could take that up even one more notch! I can’t wait to see all the guest judges, we gained so many great potters from so many nations! Mohawk smoke ware, Manitoba black duck pottery, ceramics from the west coast cultures! I was so happy to see how uncompetitive it was, folks handing out paper clay to help with cracks, hugs abounded, so much encouragement. It’s so hard throwing to the clock like that, but those sculptures were amazing for such a short time.

This is exciting! But yes, the British have set the bar high and I’m hoping that we don’t poorly just try to imitate their success or even personalities. Tough to “make it your own” when following a successful format, but best wishes hoping it is successful for all! Looking forward to this!!! Cheers.

Have watched the first episode, and agree 100% with the winner this week. That was a splendid piece! Disagree however with the person sent home. That was not the poorest work on display.

I mean? Seth Rogen? Like almost always entertaining. My wife and I got into pottery last year and have been watching the Brit version since the beginning. But to see Seth's obvious real interests and all nervous?! Priceless bro! All grown up with ashtrays and bongs! Lol I recently stopped puffing but I'd take a hit in one of his homemade bongs fo sho! 😎🤙

The hosts and judges are stiff and not the least personable as they are on the British series. And, Seth Rogen's laugh may just make me stop watching altogether - it's got to be the most annoying laugh I've heard in a long time; even worse than Fran Drescher's. The fact that Rogen has a weed company and only sells weed ashtrays/accoutrements to justify his pottery credentials is laughable. They don't have any serious potters in the whole of Canada? They had to choose him? Not a good clone of the beloved British series.
