You noticed how unbearably screwed up we the people have been DUMPED. We don't exist, America is only about greed, corporations, evil politicians who do zero for anyone but themselves. Artists banished, books, education, being systematically abolished. Ignorance celebrated, ugliness status quo, no interest in helping anyone. What? I refuse this, I will never leave my house and be pushed around, forced to pay ruthless always rising costs for everything. fooooood

Wonderful! Something to knit by in the evening, with a nice cup of tea. Maybe even turn on the fake fireplace to just the flames no heat. And my dog curled up in front of it as I knit. More, please!!!😊💖🇬🇧

Jo Johnston, I agree with you. Apart from the Joan Hickman Miss Marple series, I prefer these stories. More detail to me. 😊🇦🇺♥️
I have searched for this version for years !! Thank you for posting ❤
Brilliant feelgood drama delivered by very talented actors.
I love this channel. Stumbled on to it yesterday. It’s classy and cozy. Thank you.
💝 Miss Marple. I prefer Christie's non detective work but I do enjoy Miss Marple. What they lack in mystery is more than made up by her feel good manner. Always fun, no matter how many times. Tysm

Thank you for this!
I've loved this story since I read it in high school in the mid-80s; I read most of the Agatha Christie books in the school library, especially the Miss Marple stories (Poirot irritated me lol). Thank you for posting this.
This is fantastic thank you
Miss Marple is awesome ❤
This was one of Agatha 's most complex and interesting mysteries . Hitchcock could have made something really interesting out material .

@ Teda R Just noticed a whole slew of Ross MacDonald AND John D MacDonald audiobooks vanished after a week or so . Not sure If they were your " thing " ? You seem pretty hard boiled....🤔 Quite a few Raymond Chandlers still available though . Southern California seems much more exciting than St Mary Mead.

It was a happy ending, but seriously, if you were Gwennie, would you continue to live in this house????
To everyone who replied 2 my txt it really cheered me up knowing others are like minded in their thoughts - THANK YOU
Gwenda wouldn’t have screamed like that. I don’t think she would have screamed at all…ever if Christie said that she did. It would have been a much more internal reaction.
Brill😊

That sounded like Maurice Evans (aka Samantha's daddy on Bewitched) doing the Congreve bit in the beginning. Anyone know anything about that?
Slight spoiler in the introduction !! 😮

I think she's very good as Miss Marple, but Joan Hickson who played her in the BBC TV series will always be my definitive Miss Marple.
I can only assume that most of the commentators below have never read a history book. The halcyon days of the 1950s that I suspect most think were wonderful were not. They might have been better in the US but probably not. They are an invention of the advertising industry. I recall the cold in winter, no central heating. The boring diet. I never even saw a bell pepper until the 1960s. Ice cream a rare treat. No fridges. We lived in fear of nuclear war. After the US had dropped 2 nuclear bombs on civilians in Nagasaki and Hioshima we all knew how horrendous they were. We had the Korean war, thf Vietnam war. Various anti colonial wars in Africa. War in the middle east (plus ça change). Aden was always in the news. And that was just the last 75 yrs. It was worse before WWll anyone?
Ah yes, the Britain destroyed by you know who...

Stock photos are lazy. As is just posting a union jack flag. When I create "A.I. artwork" it takes me about 30 prompts to get the image that I am happy with. I like to put effort into producing thumbs and background images. Thanks for commenting

@@2msvalkyrie529 No, it is theft. Anything made in AI involves stealing work ACTUAL artists spent ages on. It's one thing to use it for conceptual work, or for an artist to speed up their own work, but to take and use it directly from the prompts is, disrespecting the hard work of ACTUAL talent. If you have any fondness for art in any way you won't use it, at least not w/o learning enough skills yourself to do a paint over and make it your own, you won't use it

The image of the family gathered round the radio (in the first 10 seconds) is creepy as hell. Now I find no fault with the image that runs the rest of the episode. Much thanks for listing the cast. Might I request that the date an episode was released and the broadcast company be included as well?
Using the Lord's name in vain!!
