    I am grateful for the energy that sustains this planet, I am grateful for the ecosystem of the planet and all it's wisdom which we understand and all it's wisdom that we do not understand. I am grateful for the clean air, the bugs, the trees, the rivers, the forests, and valleys. Thank you, EL HAYYIM, God of Life, who brought forth all the myriad forms of this universe as an expression of divine love, and thank you for causing it's beauty to be so much it overflows our senses. Hashem, I am grateful to truly see the incredible divine reality all around me constantly, and appreciate it for what it is. I see love, soft and fluid, incorruptible and endless, underlying all things. A mystic poem touches the heartbeat of our reality as loving joy rather than pain and sadness. Such a recording effects our lives forever more and throughout generations. I am grateful to have adhered to the path of Hesed, and to have accepted the unlimited light within my soul, torn through the oppressive grid of mundane life, and found sincerity in return to Eden. Thank you, God, with buddha wisdom, and heavenly means, who ensures the healthy spirits in us be ever strengthening, not waning. Hashem, you make immortality easy and not distant. Thank you for being celestial/cute. Thank you for making everyone comfortable.

    In 2013 my family had a big jar and a pad of paper, every time something made us happy, we'd write it down in our own colored pen (one color for each family member) then fold the paper and put it in the jar. At the end of the year you open the jar and read all the slips of paper. I nicknamed it "the jar of happy". :)

    Subscribing, such a great video. I work on a very busy unit (nurse) and I will be retiring after this year. I have been getting very nostalgic about my wonderful coworkers and each time I go to work I try to express how grateful I am for them (they are really great). They seem to like it and does it ever make me feel great. I am in the middle of writing a few emails to my supervisor about them so that this is not just verbal but that they have a written record of what they mean to me. God I am going to miss them.

    I would recommend writing a little note about good things that happen to you everyday, or a few times a week, and putting them all in a little jar so at the end of the year, you can remember all the good things that happen to you!=] I started mine during the new year but you can start now if you want!

  • @abnormalusername

    @Nicholas Coronel @Nicholas Coronel Wow this was an old comment! It was fun while I did it. I think what I enjoyed about it was the feeling that I was progressing towards a goal, maybe something I could post about in a year. A couple of years ago I found my jar of good things again and it was cool to remember some of the nice things people did for me and show them to those old friends, such as a note that said "Sheila gave me a churro!" Such simple things. I ended up only doing it for 7 months. At the time I had some bad family stuff happen and it felt emotionally exhausting to try to find good things in a really horrible day. I don't think I would start this type of thing up again; I think the types of days I have now require more... venting. If I did it again I would feel forced to be positive. Hm.. I think this exercise doesn't work for me. But something that does work for me is writing letters to friends. A long, personal letter to a friend is definitely another way of expressing gratitude, and I think my friendships are strengthened when I do it, even when I write letters to friends I haven't seen in years. I find that most of the daily notes I wrote were about other people anyway, so I did end up learning a little bit about myself. I never reflected on this exercise before. Thanks for asking about my thoughts. =]

  • @abnormalusername

    @abnormalusername

    @Nicholas Coronel Well, even if you don't stick with it like I did, you still might learn something about yourself. In my opinion, it was just sort of a neat project that doesn't take a long time to do (I didn't go into detail in my notes about good things that happen). It's almost the new year so it might be a good time to start. Or you can do the exercises in the video, but I honestly I think collecting the gratitude notes in a jar looks nicer :D

    Thank you if you are one of the people in Brazil putting your heart out to preserve and expand the Amazon rainforest and keep the Amazon river clean. Thank you, in all the ways you dream of to reach this goal may it be enough, please may it be enough to strongly reverse the damages down to that magnificent wonder of the world. Do not be discouraged, small but consistent efforts are what always adds up in the end. I am not in the Amazon region of the world, however my Brazilian friend who has since moved back to Brazil told incredible stories of the forest and of his experiences with his uncle who happened to be a shaman of native descent using the plants of the Amazon in tradition to heal the soul. I will always remember our times together sharing psychedelic wisdom and art, but also the higher meaning that we had met at all, that I would be here giving thanks and gratitude right now for the entities be they human animal or supernatural that preserve and bring good fortune upon the Amazon and who dismantle the grids of what we call reality to perceive the endlessness of nature which approached with proper respect and in contrast the smallness and receptiveness of humanity not just in ancient times but today. The dreams that grow from the Amazon are incredible, the idea that it's fruits are unquantifiable and endless is truly amazing. Slowly I am gaining a small optimism, perhaps from consistent respect the forest will be there for me, because my chakra is sincere and I do not absorb the karma of others but direct all beings to their own karma. I am grateful for dreams and their wisdom that they would transport a potentially environmentally destruction person away from nature and likewise transport an eco preserving mood and soul to places which perhaps need help be they famous or just in the rootworks. I am grateful for our dreams because they need ask for more than what we truly have, they guide us through a difficult to focus pure reality of endless choices and variables with the third eye of the soul conscious from the higher perspective. Thank you planet earth, thank you every natural plant, thank you wisdom and remedies within nature and within the good qualities of our own spirits

    I am grateful for the Chipko environmentalism movement in India. Chipko is a Hindi word meaning "hugging", is used to describe the movement because local village women literally "hugged" trees, interposing their bodies between the trees and the loggers to prevent their being cut down. What started as 1 village's protest against deforestation by new foreign companies in the area that caused harm to their lives and livelihoods because a sustained eco movement throughout India of tree hugging and consciousness raising that exists to this day. It is based on Gandhi's principle of Satyagahara, truth forcing, nonviolent protest, it should serve as an inspiration to Brazil's people today who are faced with the spiritual responsibility of healing and restoring the amazon rainforest, a natural wonder and home to unnumbered scientifically undiscovered species of life, the largest rainforest on our planet. The trees of the Amazon may not be in reach of the hands of most Brazilians, however there is another valuable way, to harness the dreams of Brazil! The people of Brazil must sustain lucidity, they must say, "[we will] not allow our dreams to become these horrid tragedies. We must hone the power of the shamans and live as a real Brazil, not a foreign imitation, stripped from the ways that are relevant to the landscape and wildlife of Brazil that can be usurped for the uses of purely commercial or environmentally insensitive entities." What starts as one dream becomes the dream of the majority and becomes the reality. To overcome its own self destruction, Brazilians must become hackers against the system itself that would otherwise hack them cutting and desecrating the forest that is actually the spirit of the people, rewriting the code of the dream as conscious dreamweavers to deliver environmentalist restoration and life that purges the pathways of the Amazon from exploiters, in learning this code they gain a gift that can help them in other paths of life as well. I see the traps and tests of nature that prevent these desecrators, miners, and would be poachers and makes them fear the spiritual realm, I do not underestimate them or worry that they will fail, I worry of my own worth at subject their test, although I myself am an environmentalist. We have woven the basket; We have seen the headlines in the lucid state, the unpoisoned Brazil that is leading the world in environmentalism, removing the corruption within systems throughout the world with it's culture of spirit medicine plants. We have represented the hearts. I am grateful for the passionate hippies and sharp insights of eco victory coming from Brazil, in most cases literally from formidable plants that trap those who transgress them in illusion but offer flowers to life willing to live in harmony, I am grateful for the Goddess Earth
