Tim is one of the best singers I've ever heard. He is also an incredible guitar player and song writer.

My grandad passed away in 1995 and the night before his funeral I learned to play this on the guitar and sang it at the funeral on top of the hill of our family cemetery in Eastern KY. The odd thing was as I was singing under the tent it started to rain. Just like in the song ' rain beats on this graveside tent'.

@@rsp1096 Exactly! Then again a lot of artists from that era didn't get the recognition. Joe Diffie(one of my favs)dying and hearing his version of The Granpa That I Know made me dig out some old cd's of Tim Mensey's.😊
