I’ve been waiting for Enel’s return since Skypiea ended. However, as time goes on, it’s getting tougher and tougher for me to see how he would come back in a relevant capacity, story wise and power wise. My guy Enel would get wasted by just about any of the Yonko/Admiral level characters, which is basically the minimum requirement considering we’re almost at the end.

Bartolomeo got one of the most busted DF's in the entire story, completely unbreakable barriers. so tough that even Oden with a serious 2-sword style attacks and Haki at his prime(after years of traveling with WB and Roger) could not put a scratch on that barrier. so now imagine an awakening of such a DF. turning the surroundins into unbreakable barriers and maybe manifesting multuple barriers all around rather than one limited barrier.

My wild card guess is that the Giants are coming to help save Egghead Island. They appeared to help Ohara in the past and I think that they caught wind of the massive Marine fleet and chose to intervene. That could give a very interesting segue into getting the Strawhats on a journey to Elbaf with someone of importance like they normally bump into or a Giant that they have met before,.

I think the trend of lesser chapters with lesser pages is reasoned in several things. 1. Oda is directly and intensively working with netflix for the OP live action series, as well as the new anime adaptation thats coming soon. As far as i know he has to approve and sign basically everything OP live action does and hes probably as deeply involved with studio Wit, Toei and Netflix regarding the new anime adaptation 2. Odas eye condition (which shouldnt affect him that much, especially after the surgery he went under last year, but who knows) 3. Since were getting closer and closer to the Final Saga and the ending of the story, Oda may be unsure on some ideas and stuff, which holds him back from telling too much in a chapter from time to time

I don't get why they are not comparable? I am a Fan of OP but i can still criticize the lack of Manga content and the recent horrible pacing. I saw someone say that the chcapters are shorter cause of Oda's influence with the Netflix OP. If it is true then that is so sad cause the manga is my fav medium and its getting lackluster effort. If you doubt my critique re read the last 8 chapters of One Piece back to back and tell me that its good or ok pacing.@@onlys9068

Twitter made me feel crazy for thinking it was the Grand Fleet, so I went crazy and tracked the timelines all off relevant events from 1060 - 1105. I learned that the Reverie a month or so ago (1083), the destruction of Luluscia happened in the last week (1089), & that Kizaru x Saturn were headed to Egghead before they learned about the Strawhats (1079), likely because they had the void century on the brain after Luluscia and York kept poking the bear (1062, 1068, 1089). Like Bonnie and Sabo, at least 2 Grand Fleet Captains were at the Reverie and escaped (1085). Also of note, G14 seems to be a little more than a day's sail away (1089, 1068) yet Kizaru and Saturn arrived, presumably, a day after CPO and [2 days after issuing the assassination order, 1day after learning about Luffy]. Fun Facts: if the Strawhats have been on Egghead for 2 days then Morgan's newscoo's are more beast than I thought. There's already been two news releases to the world; one that luffy captured Vegapunk + Garp getting captured, and one that the Gov. planned on a seige (1089 & 1103). My Takeaway: Oda plays weird with time and the serialized releases do nothing to help my perception of it. Some moments, like Saturn on Egghead and Bonnie attacking him and Kuma showing up, takes a matter of minutes but appears across at least 3 chapters, where as some things seem to be concurrent but are actually mild flashbacks (like sabo making it to Rev. Army) Anyways, now I'm crazy and I can't put the genie back in the bottle

LOL when fans take the manga more serious than the mangaka LOL. Trust me Oda doesn't plan travel time in One Piece. If you analyzed the manga with logical time expectation not much would line up. People up to today still say Akainu got Destroyed by white beard, not realizing the entire War lasted less than 24 hrs and after Akainu got attacked by the strongest enraged White beard, he literally just got up and attaked the rest of WB pirates.

The person that will save Luffy is one that nobody will see coming. Imagine an awakened Foxy coming to the straw hats rescue, now that would something to see.

One thing to consider with Barto: in the midst of searching for him, Shanks ended up in Elbaf. So is it possible that was Oda's way of telling us, Shanks had intel Barto is/was in the vicinity of Elbaf at some point. If so, Barto could be alot closer than one would think. Which would make the Grand Fleet showing up interesting, because of what it could lead to. Shanks didn't want to meet Luffy, and decided to chase Barto. Just to finally catch up to Barto, when hes with Luffy. In which case, Luffy would need to prove his crew is greater than Shanks' to save Barto. "And at last, the battle between that character and that may have unexpected results" -Oda. What if ........

Considering how Oda likes to surprise everyone and go with the least expected scenario, my bet would be on Cross Guild too.

Thinking about the MADS story being told through Egghead, I think it has to be Marco and Weevil showing up with old Stussy to Egghead. Marco would be able to burn a boat, and break it in half. And if this is the opposite side of the coin to Marineford then Whitebeards kid stopping the Marines would be fitting, and could introduce the chaos Blackbeard needs to appear before the end of the arc.

Oda should bring back Doflamingo if he has Cross Guild with other former Warlords in it and he could fill in some other story parts, like maybe God's Valley is why his father decided to leave the other Celestial Dragons on the Red Line and live like civillians? In what group combination is Chopper the authority? NOT counting during medical emergencies, just in general the crew has split up and are about to fight some Yonko commanders or something, what group has Chopper leading them? In practice I think we only saw this dynamic with Cho-bro (Choniki) and Carrot, but I suppose that's fair. Actually, mentioning how Jinbe is everyone's junior on the crew actually DOES imply the possibility that if it were just him and Chopper, he might actually have to defer to Chopper's knowledge of the rest of the crew's dynamic. Like how Nami sends him to make sure Zoro doesn't get lost, Chopper could have easily made that call, or something similar like Chopper might ask Jinbe to backup Sanji not because Sanji is weak but because his keen animal nose smells specifically a female scented perfume coming from Sanji's direction and knowing Sanji could not fight a woman.

I want it to be everyone. Everyone you think should be there would be there, except maybe the Revs, and they'll all be there for different reasons. What I imagine is kind of like a modern day God Valley incident. Where all the people that would go on to define the new era woould converge and shake the world up. I think that would be kind of like setting up a God valley parallel in advance, and it would be INSANE if thats what actually ends up happening. But knowing Goda, what he has instore is probably even better than this. I can't wait to see what he does.

I had this same thought too. MAD’s miss Bakkon is seeking Vegapunk with Weevil. Weevil/Crocodile and their history with whitebeard is still an unresolved thing. There’s some reason for almost everyone showing up.

The Viz translation actually worsened the Zoro v Lucci situation for the former after TCB. TCB - We need Jimbei to find Zoro and bring him with us Viz - Zoro and Lucci are still going at it, we need to go, we need to send the strongest fighter among our group to help Zoro get out of there

To be fair, the conversation with Sabo ended with them guessing the origin and intent of the weapom that destroyed Lulusia and Vegapunk's involvement. Also there was a call placed to Dragon by Shaka stating he's going to die. So even if not Dragon himself, we now know there are specific revolutionary parties for every region of the world so one of them could be on their way

To be more fair, every revolutionary army commander and deputy commander is currently on momoiro island, so oda would need to introduce even more new characters into the arc and if its not the revs that we know there really isn’t any point

The cross guild has great reasons to go to egghead! 1. Three words MS ALL SUNDAY, MI need to steal 3 road ponegliffs when you have one person who already knows 3 abs can read the 4th 2. Crocodile from the beginning seems to have knowledge of things we have no idea of how he got said knowledge. So making a play for vegapunk (or his technology) could be a great move 3. There's a Elder in the island and taking advantage of taking him down could further the cross guild agenda in an instant.

I didn't even think of Neo MADS but it makes a ton of sense, lots of valuable research and tech, Caesar's fruit could explain how Luffy got fed, and yes they might not want to "recruit" Vegapunk but maybe "retrieve" him

Some say that Vegapunk will die in the Egghead arc, because Shaka called Dragon saying so. The thing is, Shaka is a Vegapunk, and *_he_* died so technically what he said about it was correct.

The fact that oda has so many cliff hangers with so many possibilities that fan base argue over blows my mind, I feel like it's what gives the community life.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this will happen, I mean, the grand fleet had to have noticed Luffy's Vivra card playing with matches and decided to meet up and head toward Luffy, and depending on where they are they probably couldn't make it in time for Wano and are still going to go to Luffy to see how he is and if they've heard anything at all about Egghead, they can assume he will be there when they arrive. They may not expect the biggest battle in history but they could totally be coming. Love to see what Oda has in store for us.

My issue with the Grand Fleet is that they would’ve been going to Wano instead of Egghead. The only way they show up on time is if they arrived at Wano within the day Luffy left, got the direction Luffy left for, and left within that day. If the Grand Fleet decides since Luffy isn’t currently fighting and stays in Wano, or simply they pulled up more than a day after the Straw Hats left, then they’ll still be sailing. Meanwhile it’s more likely BB for a few reasons. Number 1: besides Shanks he’s the closest. Number 2: a ship of theirs pulled up the day before and the only two Titanic Commanders are Catarina and Laffitte. Now I don’t know about you, but there’s no way they saw the Seraphim’s, the army of pacifista, CP0, as well as the Straw Hats and just said “Nah, I’d win.” Like they definitely called for backup as soon as they realized how out of control Egghead is right now (original plan was just sneak in and out without being detected, but whoever Catarina disguises as would still lead to them getting attacked). 3. BB doesn’t sleep, meaning he can go full throttle throughout the night and when everyone is awake he can use Quakes to fly through the ocean faster. Basically BB might just have the fastest moving ship if he uses his Quakes. He’s just gonna need a little rest before getting into Egghead.

"Modular", that's such a perfect way to describe the crew that I never even thought about until now

Official translations are out and the last panel says, ''We failed to destroy the ship..... They went to egghead". 2 things, 1st I thought that they were talking about the escaping vessel, they wanted to help Vegapunk so they defended themselves and went back to egghead. 2nd It can be black beard pirates who destroyed the ship and are now at egghead because the Marines said, "they went" not "they just left". Maybe they were unconscious and when they woke up they were like, "Oh! They went to egghead, I didn't even notice. I should tell Kizaru"

After Pedro's death, when the group separated from Luffy, it was Jinbe who led, not Nami

I feel like Sanji doesn't get enough credit. He is not only one of the strongest members of the crew but also one of the smartest. He knows what's happening

Reasons why I think it’s the grand fleet 1. The narrator at the end of Dressrosa said they would participate/cause a great incident/event. I think egghead fits the bill. 2. It’s Luffy’s first battle as an official Yonko and what way to illustrate this then to have his massive fleet show up. It lets the world government know if you mess with Luffy you mess with his fleet as well. It’s not just a rag tag group of 10 pirates anymore. 3. Hajrudin being there makes sense as he and the rest of the fleet can escort the crew to Elbaf. 4. Hajrudin and the New Giant Warrior pirates seemed to be the giants recovering the books from ohara from Saul. So like a connection with Saul and if he is in hiding on Elbaf he can bring Robin and the crew to him. 4. Bartolomeo being there could actually be the catalyst for a battle with shanks. 5. Luffy just being rescued by the fleet and acknowledging them as his subordinates can’t let shanks harm bartolomeo. 6. So Luffy and shanks have to fight because the both have responsibilities as captains, Luffy to protect his subordinate and shanks to protect his territory and reputation so he can continue to protect his fleet and territories. That way it doesn’t have to be a Davy back fight. It doesn’t have to be to the death it could be like the Roger Pirates vs the Whitebeard Pirates and end in a big party. 7. Elbaf may not have an antagonist, unless Loki is evil or a twist and Thor is evil and Luffy has to fight them. I could see shanks being the major battle for Elbaf. 8. After a rest and confrontation with shanks it could be SHGF vs BB fleet. I think Luffy will 100% need the grand fleet to deal with BB fleet while the straw hats get their 1v1. It would also be a nice way to introduce other BB pirate member who are powerful but not titanic captain level.

Caribou would BECOME FOOD STORAGE of the straw hats not feeder. Cook and Feeder go to closely together

When the Punks were showing the Straw Hats around Egghead orignally, didn't they mention that Egghead could protect itself from a Buster Call unlike Ohara? They revealed some tech then we should talk about more because it was giving us foreshadowing of what is going to happen the rest of the arc.

It’s likely that Luffy’s vivre card burnt completely in Wano, and the Grand Fleet are approaching Egghead after reading the barricading news.

I doubt it's the grand fleet because I don't think they're officially recognised by the world government and at the end of the chapter that marine said " *they're* heading for egghead" which makes me believe it's a more recognised group like the blackbeard pirates

They are officially recognised. For example Sai and Leo attacked the world nobles and anounced they are luffys subordinates. And when luffy was announced 5th emporer he was called senior captain and his crew the nine commanders with a grand fleet of 5640 pirates.

Blackbeard is unlikely IMO. If Blackbeard wanted something on Egghead he would have got it before the Marines showed up. It only really makes sense if the group coming here wants to help Luffy.

What if Mihawk adopts S-hawk and after Zoro beats him, he starts training S-hawk to take down Zoro, so that Zoro can always have a legitimate threat? Cuz he'd have all of the mihawknes in a tight little package that can only get stronger.

Fewer pagers butt something i noticed is that in 1105 the art was a lot cleaner/hq than some of the previous. that "double" spread mentioned at the end with Nami looked really good.

It's definitely Blackbeard. Lafitte and Devon sailed to Egghead to potentially negotiate Vegapunk joining up with them, but they called in Teach and the others from Winner Island (Thank you, Warp-Warp Fruit!), and they sunk the Marine ship sent to sink the evacuees because it's win-win. Either they get grateful scientists who worked under Vegapunk himself for the crew, or they get hostages to barter with Vegapunk for his cooperation in their technological endeavors (not that Teach has any at the moment, but he wouldn't mind the option being available). But! If Blackbeard really does have designs on Vegapunk, then that means Shanks will be stepping in to stop him, and the whole Egghead operation turns into a three-Emperor catastrophe for the World Government that not even Kizaru and Saint Saturn can get them out of!

I 1000% think Lafitte (probably Devon too, but undoubtedly Lafitte) have been on egghead since that one BB ship showed up. I can even see Lafitte specifically being the dude moving luffy around, if the man snuck past mihawk he can definitely get by the average marine unnoticed. As for why, it might be that he (or the BB pirates in general) know that luffy/the gomu gomu no mi is important for finding the One Piece and need him to stay alive? Same reason why Roger said they got to Laugh Tale too early?

After hearing so many theories of who's coming to Egghead, a thought occurred to me: what if it's ALL of them.

I think it'd be funny if it ended up being Vivi just seeing the ship under attack and manipulating Morgans and Wapol to somehow do something about it in a very Namiesque kinda way. It'd be so one piece all of us theorizing about the cross guild, revolutionary army finally moving, Blackbeard pirates... and it ended up being just a bird, a fat moronic glutton and a blue haired princess casually stumbling upon trouble

The problem with Shanks is he'd be conflicted between helping either Luffy or Saturn

Oof that would be super hard from Odas part buddy . This is not dragon ball . One piece is Odas baby . His story , his drawings. No way in hell odas stops drawing it since it’s his imagination drawing every single detail of the story . If he were to stop drawing it that would mean the manga has ended .

Do Not forget. Night passed by and Oda has not shown us exactly what happened there. We just saw that the seraphim’s were captured and that everybody else were eating. Luffy could have maybe called the grand fleet to come and helped them out. The straw hat knew that the marine would come. So I thinks it’s the grand fleet. And maybe the tontattas moved Luffy to the food machine. They were also “invisible” in dressrosa.

The ending is going to be such a bittersweet moment.

Makes more sense if it's the RA that comes to egghead given the ties between characters, places & past events that we've seen in previous chapters. What if dragon has a busted wind logia devil fruit that allows him to manipulate & travel fast via tornado? Along with a fleet of RA ships that are caught in said tornado there's still a chance for them to appear🤞

I do wonder if the shorter chapters are a result of Oda's eye condition, or if it's his bosses telling him and his team to slow down the pace of production of One Piece to artificially extend it as he has intentions of wrapping it up sooner rather than later.

If Luffy died on onigashima then wouldn't that mean the vivre card burned away and I don't think they regenerate after burning once so how would the grand fleet find Luffy

I have a feeling it could be Edward Weevil. We have already seen one clone this arc and Weevil really hasn't done anything since his introduction.

I do believe that cross guild might be the ones there. Maybe after years of searching for Captain John’s treasure, he eventually finds it and it happens to be the 4th road poneglyph. During this time though, luffy and the others are on the other side of the island. So by the time they escape and the buster call has concluded, there will be nothing left on the island. This will result in a need for the strawhats to go after cross guild eventually, leading to a reunion of Buggy vs Luffy, Zoro vs Mihawk, Crocodile vs Mr Prince, etc. However I see zoro losing again, but that’s a theory for a different time

I don't think it was Caribou who gave Luffy food, but I don't think it was Kizaru anymore. I think it might be the Tontatta. My reason is that they're very small, and move as if they weren't even there. They also move very fast, which is one of the other criteria. They would be able to sneak their way into Egghead because they're so small, and ahead of the rest of the Grand Fleet. Finally, they're strong enough to move a bloated Luffy out of the way in record time, and defend him from Marines trying to capture him.

Still holding in hope its buggy getting himself unintentionally into more trouble than he wants

We haven't had a TRUE introduction to the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, and what better way to do that than going to war with the Navy, who have enough ships and troops for a double buster call. Also the Egghead ship getting away safely tells me it's at the very least, someone who's not evil like Blackbeard.

One thing that's really interesting: if we're going with parallels from Ohara, after a successful buster call it was basically erased from history. There was nothing for the world to see, no "incident". But the narrator clearly states that the egghead incident will send ripples around the world, and everyone will know about it. Even if buster call succeeds, knowledge is power, and that's why they're destroying the island. The incident being known around the world can only mean one thing: this ends BADLY for the WG. If it ends badly becaus the world knows about what WG did to the island OR the world finds out because of the incident that went wrong for the WG -- we'll just have to wait and see.

No else thinking it’s Saul and his comrades ? Seems like a nice way to tie him back into the Ohara/Buster call parallels. Perhaps a reunion with Robin too.

I feel like whoever destroyed the Marine ship at the end must be coming to help. Think of the fact that whoever is coming protected the fleeing researchers. I don't think Blackbeard's crew would stop to help innocent civilians by destroying a Marine vessel and potentially give away their eventual sneak attack. The Grand Fleet would most definitely attack the Marines who are trying to kill the researchers. And imagine the publicity and notoriety that would be added to Luffy's and the Grand Fleet's name when they thwart a buster call by blasting their way in and out of Egghead. Especially with Morgans showing up before long. He may get a glimpse of what is happening and make a big deal about is the news and make Luffy up to be the greatest threat to the Worlds Government's power.

Since our swamp Nakama knows luffy's true dream, I think it's possible for him to join the crew and have change of heart or something.

I definitely love the idea of the grand fleet coming to luffys aid after seeing his vivre card, but i feel like its most likely the blackbeard ship that was nearby. I dont see oda introducing a factor and not using it later on.

As silly as Swamp Nakama is, I genuinely do think it’d be really funny if Caribou became a Straw Hat by accident/because of a misunderstanding. Like the WG saw him leave Wano with Luffy, saw him arrive on Egghead with Luffy, potentially saw him help Luffy if he did indeed deliver that food, and with a Buster Call they’ll almost certainly see him leave with Luffy, so I could see a scenario where he gets a bounty with the WG assuming he’s a Straw Hat, and everyone is flabbergasted by it, none moreso than Caribou himself.

One thing to consider, is that travel in One Piece has never taken particularly long. We know the Marines can leverage waterways to travel faster than pirates, furthermore we know the revolutionaries have been able to do something of their own to travel fast too (Kuma was one way, but there seem to be others), and on top of this we've seen how fast pirates can travel. Look pre timeskip at how much time was spent on ships versus on islands, or look post time skip for the same. I don't think it's Dragon because he doesn't seem to have been in a hurry, but from what we know of travel times, and from what we saw of Ace's ability to travel it's not impossible for Sabo to show up. Thought it's a missed opportunity for Kizaru and Dragon to not meet.

Shanks has been “following behind” Luffy for a while now… he pops up in the paramount war, and after Wano. So, maybe shanks will play some clean up role. However, his declaration of finding the One Piece made it seem like he’s going to be more “active” or at least openly active. Can’t wait to see what oda has in store! Plus the breakdowns on this channel!

As a One Piece fan it truly makes me happy (also a little sad) to say that you've officially become apart of my since of dread from the incoming end of One Piece.
