Far too much Katy Perry stuff. Couldn't even sing one of her songs. Not enough Michael Jackson stuff considering he won 8 grammys in 1984. The mural at the end was amazing.

c d she owned some of his stuff until lady Gaga bought all of his stuff and went to far and wore one of his jackets he wore in 1989 when he went to the White House for the second time and was countersued and the stuff was put in its own museum

My son won a Grammy for his high school when he was a junior, now he's a professional jazz musician. Great vlog!!

They have a lot more Michael Jackson stuff in Vegas at his show One if you haven't seen it I highly recommend seeing it. So good. They have his shoes and his one of his white gloves. I have pictures.

I saw BB King , where I worked, in a small dance place in the late 70s. What a kind man.. My boss took me behind the curtains and there he was sitting there on a chair waiting to go on. My boss introduced me and we shook hands. He signed an autograph for me with beautiful handwriting addressed to me. Then he dug down in his pocket and brought a guitar pick out and gave it to me. The pick had his name on it. I cherish that memory to this day. So glad he was finally appreciated in a big way... Thank you for the fun tour. It's great to go on vacation to LA and not leave the comfort of your bed..;)

Love B. B. King! Thanks for showing this. That Elvis shirt was my bathroom wallpaper in the 70's. Same pattern, same color and I just loved it. Wish I knew then that Elvis wore it as a shirt.

Such a tragedy that Michael Jackson is no longer with us. Not my type of music but a consummate entertainer.

Loved this vlog! I do hope you go back to this museum I would like to see more! Sorry I never heard of X before. I did enjoy seeing Katy Perry's wardrobe so colorful! There wasn't as much Michael Jackson as I would have thought would be there. I also enjoyed seeing BB King's and Ray Charles's things! Thank you Jordan!

Ok, I paused the video long enough to look up X just to see if they had a song I liked but just didn't realize who they were, nope. I gotta tell you though, you definitely bring the phrase "learn something new everyday" into my life! 😂 Another great one! ❤️

I grew up and came of age in the '70's, and I never heard of X, but the display was neat. I mostly enjoyed Katy Perry's costumes. I didn't realize how extensive her costuming was.

X is one of my top 5 fave bands. This is great. And they just released a new album.

I will be looking forward to another vlog if you happen to find John Denvers stuff, I am a big fan (thanks to my mother for raising me to love him). She had his music on all the time as I grew up and I love him just as much now. If you ever get a chance to see Ted Vigil in concert, he is a tribute artist of John, he is amazing... you have to go if you can, he travels a lot. Thanks for sharing!

Hummingbird is my all time favorite BB King song. I once won a music trivia contest and the prize was tickets to see BB King with openers Tower of Power and Robert Cray at an outdoor venue in Charleston, SC. What an awesome show! Robert Cray was so smoooooooooooth. And of course BB had the audience wrapped around his pinky.

Hey Jordan, my friend Janell Moore also worked for Tower Records back in the late 1980's through the 1990's in Sacramento, CA.

there are many of those gloves. the original was never seen again. (or I haven't seen it) Swarvarski did a whole line of interpretations. which MJ did claim one was the original. but it wasn't. I had to recreate it for a contest I did on Dancing on Air. not long after Motown 25.

X had some pretty sweet harmonies for a punk band.

You crack me up dude. You’re looking at the guitars near the Dobros and you’re asking what they’re made of... they’re called Steel Guitars! Hehe. Here’s my band’s funny dobro story: we played a lot of Southern Rock, so we thought it was cool when we found out our bass player’s older brother actually had vintage 70’s transcriptions for Lynyrd Skynyrd songs purchased from a music store. Well, they must have given that job to some dork in a cubicle with zero soul because in the lyrics for “Ballad of Curtis Lowe”, it said he ‘used to own an old dodo!’ And somehow he could ‘tune up’ his dodo too. Hahaha!

Since you asked, Saw X twice in Portland. Right up there with one of the best bands ever. Lots of the best bands most people have never heard of Like King's X. Just happened to be listening to X last night. I had to google it, but Billy Zoom seems to be alive after a major health issue. The Doors and X may be the best bands that came from LA. Hint, there is a connection. Great video. Give Jah a pat.
