RuPaul wouldn't want to give any publicity to anything to do with Micheal and rightly so. He also doesn't talk about Nelson much as he doesnt like to go backwards I've heard him say in interviews. This is also why he said he doesn't like watching old videos. I would love to hear RuPaul speak about Nelson more as the guy is legendary and I could and have spent hours watching his videos. Would also love for RuPaul to speak about party monster etc and what went on but apart from a tiny bit in his biography he says nothing. I understand why but would love to hear how he really feels about it all. To RuPaul I guess it's just not relevant and history now.

I couldn't find the date of when this was filmed, so I calculated 2002. You can tell right away it was the 2000's because of the fashion. I remember Britney and everyone else (including myself) wearing those colored eye glasses with the little hearts. Yellow were the most popular. Not to mention the jeans and the top. Very fashionable for the time. BTW what a zaddy Graham Norton was then!

I feel like Ru felt awkward during this interview because she generally went into hiding once the Bush administration came into office. This most have been one of her rare public outings during the time.
