The term "prostitute" did not always describe a woman of the night , its original meaning ( from the time of Christ) Prostitute: an unwed woman , a woman with no man to provide for her . Since after her mother died the males in her family didnt want to care for her anymore, they abused her, raped her and tossed her out like trash. Since woman were never listened to they never believed what she was telling the people of her village , they thought she was insane. When Jesus met her , she was being stoned , people were throwing rocks at her. To completely understand the past it must be fully understood and facts taken at face value . Mary was never a prostitute, not in the way we think about that word today .

Does anyone remember in the Bible that Jesus asked for that to be taken away not marrry.but the sacrifice of his own life. In the garden he asked for it to be taken away if it could be done but it was said no so he accepted it. He was divine but his flesh was afraid.. which in my opinion it's a wonderful he showed them that we are not perfect. Even he had his doubts. But he did it anyway and that is the true miracle.

IMO I know I am not qualified to know anything of the scriptures as translated from any language. Also, I am fairly confident that humans even honestly do things with personal or organizational agendas. Humans have free will. Do the calculus and you come up with the people writing Bibles or voting on what's in what's out can make errors in judgement or heart. For reference I site Adam and Eve. IF my assertion is inaccurate then please explain why protestants and Catholics have different versions. How can KJV and New Testament have words. Inspired yes.
