I remember switching jobs at one point and having to readjust to the situation around me to make more money . This song helped me get through some dark, tough times , when I felt alone , destitute, and hopeless. I was in the process of buying a home and didn't know if I would make it through at the new job . To sum everything up , I would play this song every morning before work just to remind me of how good god still is. I ended up getting that home and finding a much better job that paid twice as much just by having faith and holding on to my prayers and faith .

3:28 I remember when I was very young at the age 3 or 4 years old my mom would tell us to sit down and watch tv while she went to the bathroom and pray. She would come out calling on Jesus, tears in her eyes, lay hands on me and my younger brother and say lord bless my children and don't let them go astray. As Willie said, I couldn't understand what she was talking about. He described exactly to the tee my mom praying. Brings tears to my eyes every time I hear this song.

I remember my granny in the duster with me wrapped up by the wood stove .... I can't Waite to see her again And maybe they can sing this and we all join in. I made it 2023 This Hits my Soul. Now I lnow the words as a 40yr old man.

I was so young when the key note made a double album and this is one of my favorite songs on this album because when I was a young girl sometimes late at night I used to hear my mama crying and praying to God to bless and keep her kids safe. And years later I got a chance to meet Paul and take a picture with him God bless the ones that are still living and R I P to Willie Neal

Yes I will always love this song and lot's of it's is that my Beautiful Mother love it so much.I was A young man when they arrive in Milwaukee Wisconsin.i ask the older people. Did Paul have A whistle in his mouth. I hadn't heard anything like that before and I was not able to believe it. What A moment.

And that' song JESUS AND ME, I have listened to that song more than 200 times... That particular song has lifted me up several times. I pray quartet singing will never go out of style...

There is nothing in comparison to "old school" soul touching gospel. I remember going to see him in concert. His group and many other gospel legends really poured their heart and souls out in their songs. As a little girl I didn't quite understand the meaning of being annointed but the way he performed and sung at Chesterfield high school I knew even then that this man was a true believer in God.
