Great news, We finally know that there will be a seventh season of Good Witch! Fans had been on tenterhooks since the season 6 finale, worried that they had seen the last of Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell). In an announcement made in mid-July, Hallmark Channel said the show would be picked up for a seventh season. In previous seasons, Hallmark renewed the series well before the end of the current season. That didn’t happen in 2020. There’s a lot going on in TV land so we don’t blame the network for taking their time to make a decision. Good Witch, which follows Cassie and the inhabitants of the town of Middleton, started as a standalone film back in 2008. That film led to 11 movies and six seasons of the series. We’re hoping Hallmark will also add more movies to the franchise, maybe something in time for Halloween. Itching for season 7? We’ve got all the juicy details about what you can expect in the 2021 season. Fingers crossed there’ll be another dream wedding coming our way! Good Witch will return in May 2021. As the series renewal was just announced, we don’t have any details about the upcoming season, but we have some pretty good guesses!
Spoiler Alert Now that the curse has been broken, one can speculate we’ll see either a wedding, a reconciliation and maybe even a new romance. If Adam (Scott Cavalheiro) returns to Middleton after his mission, will he and Stephanie (Kaylee Evans) get back together? Will romance blossom between Joy (Katherine Barrell) and Carter (Jason Diaz)? We’ll also find out what the mystery is with the satchels each of the Merriwick sisters received anonymously. Cassie’s had some dirt in it, but it was never revealed what Joy and Abigail had in theirs and what they are for. And last, but not least, we’ll hopefully find out if Cassie and Sam finally find a hobby they can enjoy together! Does that mean we’ll see a wedding at the end of season 7? The show also teased a possible romance between Joy and Carter, the carpenter who helps Joy with the renovation of Tinsdale Manor. We don’t have a full cast lineup yet, but we can assume most of the familiar faces around Middleton will be returning. We’ll let you know if we hear otherwise, but expect to see Catherine Bell (Cassie Nightingale Russell Radford), James Denton (Dr. Sam Radford), Sarah Power (Abigail Pershing), Catherine Disher (Martha Tinsdale), Peter MacNeill (George O’Hanrahhan), Kylee Evans (Stephanie Borden), Scott Cavalheiro (Adam Hawkins), Rhys Matthew Bond (Nick Radford), Marc Bendavid (Mayor Donovan Davenport), Paula Boudreau (Dotty Davenport) and Katherine Barrell (Joy Harper). While the show takes place in the fictitious town of Middleton, USA, the show is filmed in and around Toronto, Canada. The real Grey House is in Dundas, Ontario, Canada and is known as Foxbar. Fans from the show flock to Foxbar every year to check out the home. The owner of the home said last year fans from Australia came to Foxbar just to take a picture! The first five seasons of Good Witch are available to stream on Netflix in the U.S. You can also purchase or rent episodes on iTunes and Amazon. The movies are available to stream on Hallmark Movies Now, Hallmark Channel’s streaming service. How many seasons are there of Good Witch? Currently, there are 11 movies-seven made prior to the series and five movies within the six seasons of Good Witch. The series has been picked up for a seventh season set to premiere in 2021.

I have watched all of the movies and season 1 through 7 I miss the show wish they could bring it back I absolutely love miss Bell she is the reason I started watching the show this show helps you smile and laugh it always helps lift your spirit when you’re down ❤❤❤❤I really miss the show please reconsider bringing it back

This show has given me plenty of advice on handling life and composing myself as an ADHD person. Blessings
Please bring the good witch back , keep it going and maybe tell why some of the actors just disappeared make up something in the storyline.
The reason Chris Potter left is because he had a commitment to the show Heartland and it is interesting to note that the British boy was also on Heartland.

I watched the original movie, then all the movies, and TV shows in order over a period of about a month. One thing that really bothered me was how Cassie put so much emphasis on her family in the original movies, but somewhere along the line, her family was completely replaced by different people. Her husband died and was replaced by Sam. Her two step kids disappeared altogether. Grace and her grandfather were the only things maintaining some continuity, but then Grace left, too. I think the show ended when it needed to end.
Sarah was my absolute favorite.
Oh I can't wait till the next season comes out I'm so excited 😊❤. So is my mom especially.

I did notice changes in cast members as the series progressed, but like other series, changes are inevitable. People have real life lives and sometimes that takes priority over fictional lives in a series. I loved the Good Witch. It was a very positive series that kept me wanting to see the next installment. Writers and producers have a duty to provide entertainment, and sometimes that requires changes that don't quite make chronological sense. I remember a movie where Grace was just a newborn, then the series and she's a teenager. That was an adjustment to be sure, but as I said, writers and producers have a way of altering timelines. I enjoyed the series, the movies and am grateful to have seen such a wonderful production.

When Grace was born, Lori would have been 17, 😂😂 She only looks a few years older, when Grace is a teen. Just like the soapies, always getting the ages mixed up😂😂

Love that theme song! Was it too much for the Evangelical base to watch a lesbian 💋 kiss? I'm surprised that it even had a witchy theme.

I love the show but Grace is my least favourite character so this surprises me a lot. She's a classic Mary Sue character on top of being smug and condescending to all the other characters, acting as if she knows better than all the adults. I'd love to watch Seasons 6 and 7 but for some reason they're not available in the UK.

Season 7 got too wrapped up in magic, too many pieces of a puzzle and they needed to simplify it. The movies and the show always seemed to have magic as a sort of wink towards it. It felt like there were different writers, and they too fell into the wokeness that the entertainment industry is pressured to add on, which it did feel like an awkward add on instead of a natural fit for this audience.
What a waste
Hallmark would have to include the alphabet soup inclusion and that would go against the entire wholesome messages through the shows story and have RUINED THE ENTIRE THING. THANK GOODNESS THEY ENDED ON A HIGH NOTE. UNLIKE SO MUCH GARBAGE HALLMARK HAS RELEASED IN THE LAST FEW YEARS.
