Charles Wright seems to one of those dudes that would be awesome to be friends with, always smiling and laughing… with the added benefit that he could also rip a person’s arms off if the situation called for it.

💯 he’s like your next door og neighbor
The Godfather was a solid hand and has many stories. Good listen. 👍
This channel deserves way more subs and this shoot deserves way more views ...c'mon now who didn't like the godfather back then
He is looking great...this guy doesn't age!
"The one that hurts you the most is the one you don't see comin". Indeed. Wise words, Godfather. Wisdom for life. Sounds like the tagline of a good movie.
great interview! love to hear the Godfather's stories. good questions and discussion
What a great interview. Huge props to the both of you for putting out amazing content. A+
Man this was chill and candid, Godfathers a cool guy. Any chance of a chat with Ron Simmons?
Man you gotta get this dude back on. Very good interview
I got to smoke once with Godfather once back in the early 2000's and he was a chill cool dude, now he does a podcast occasionally with B-Real from Cypress Hill
I alway thought The Godfather character looked best when he was transitioning from Kama Mustafa. The all black Godfather outfit was so cool.
Nice to see an interveiw where the wrestler isn't completely bitter after wwe
Dutch should be jealous!!! Way to go James for having Charles on this morning. Would be great about rehearing the story about Taker and the Godfather in the car in a snowbank!!!
Very cool, chill person. Good to say about everyone (except Sunny- DAMN), even Ultimately Worthless. Had a truly unique career!
Just a special dude who has lived such an abundant life…
Such an incredible interview ! Thanks for interviewing him, dude will forever be a legend in the world of wrestling
😂😂My daughter-in-law’s mom was a Ho for the Godfather. I met Godfather @ The Roosevelt Hotel in NOLA and he cut a promo on her 😂😂😂😂
Top tier interview!!!
Loved the different characters that he played over the years and hope he is enjoying retirement
Great interview...godfather so chill and relaxed....wouls love to have a drink with him
what a cool dude
Awesome dude, very happy to see that he’s doing well. BSK original
The relationship Americans have with alcohol compared to the British is wildly different The American boasts about two people drinking a single bottle of JD whereas a Brit could easily do that on their own But absolutely love The Godfather, one of the coolest real life personalities in the history of the business!
Hair of the dog is right , hangovers suck 🤣🤣🤣
Eh, he was not accurate when he said the "Sir Charles" gimmick was because Charles Barkley played in Phoenix. He debuted that gimmick in May of 1991. Barkley was still on the Philadelphia 76ers at the time and wouldn't get traded to the Phoenix Suns until the start of the 1992-93 season.
Got a new sub from me
His Pimp Hand be strong!
I always knew Undertaker was some sorta Cat Creature explaining fear of Cucumbers. I've heard they mistake them for snakes only used them for some Satire Jingles for visual aides hehe. I recall when would get Cheeseburgers in diner having a thing about pickles even the juice getting on bun was yeck hehe. Got Pin in draw here akin to that Skull ring he has on. Virgil was supposed to be Dusty Rhodes with Million Dollar Man Jim Crockett so Godfather in WCW would have been odd. I know when played handball those fingerless leather gloves or weight lifting ones would get really smelly also some stain hands black hehe. Those D Lo stories are funny especially Chicago dope :). Ahmed Johnson got along with Nobody :). Brawl For All FAvorite :).
He’s still living the gimmick
I'd love to share a bong and hear stories from this guy.. he seems like a real one, I did enjoy Papa Shango despite the various hokey nonsenses. I wish the 2nd version had actually come to fruition.. put him in the Ministry of Darkness? lol
I'm probably in the minority here, but I always liked the papa shango gimmick better than the Godfather gimmick, I liked them both but that's just my opinion
Stip clubs have been going away ever since the internet got big in the mid 1990s. Internet porn took over the role strip clubs play.

Too short
Charles Wright seems like that cool Uncle everybody wanna hang around and get high with.
Shrimpin' ain't easy and fishes ain't shit!
45:22 this strip club conversation is fire. I feel like mans is right. I'm in my early 30s and I've never been to a strip club. I don't see the point 😂 generational shift fr. We have the hub and tindr. So depending on your level of game, you can get what your looking for for free
+22nd
Wow he wrestled in Germany with Scott hall and razor Roman, that's would of been cool, maybe in a 6 man tag?
I bet Big E could bench 500 pounds
Maybe you could stop that cough if you’d leave that green medicine alone.
I could listen to this
