I met the writer of this song and his wife. They lived only about 10 minutes from me. I took a client to kidney dialysis and they were there. He was having treatments there. I was so honored to help him into his car when I could. Such a wonderful family. He passed away abt 2.5 years ago and she passed away this past year. He was such a humble man. I miss them. Their son passed from cancer abt a year before he did. I was able to attend his funeral. His name was Stony and they gave out stones at his funeral. I have it in my curio memory cabinet. Their other son lives only a block from me. I love this song even more since I knew them personally. The little one joined in at the last. So sweet. Thank you for raising your children to know Jesus and to sing about Him.

Fears were rolling through my mind and I was able to listen to you sing "The God On the Mountain" and it brought such encouragement and comfort to my heart!! God is indeed still on the throne and He is our hope and strength!! I am so glad that this was filmed in Palmer, AK. My brother and family live in Wasilla. Even though I live in Minnesota, I have been able to visit 4 times. The past couple of years brought me and my family to Wasilla 3 times to visit my sister-in-law Chris who was battling a rare devesting case of cancer. Last November she went home to be with the Lord. God supplied incredible friends and church family to help see them through the battle-PTL!! What a gift of song the Lord has given each one of you.....Your voices and tender hearts minister to so many!! You spread hope, joy, love, kindness and gentleness to the world!!
