The GNARLIEST Trails in Cumberland (and they’re not even on the map yet!)

I was really stoked when I heard that these trails (which aren't even back on Trailforks yet) had been rebuilt! They were some of the best proper DH double black diamond trails in the Cumberland network.
Of course I' talking about "Grub", ""Stub", and "Pity the Fool." It's a long pedal to get out to them, and it's a tricky technical descent to link up all three, with some pretty big moves thrown in to keep it extra spicy! I was riding these blind and alone, so I made sure to keep it safe... at least safe-ish.

Good riding and great looking trails. Always smarter to leave something for next time, especially when riding alone in middle of nowhere! :D

Love how you got off the bike at times and walked your line and visualized how you were going to attack the drops.

Well ridden. I remember riding these when they were new. There was a big tree you had to ride under while making a hairpin turn on PTF. It's long gone sadly. Those two drops had me sliding down on my butt! We rode it in the summer and there was 4-6 inches of dust in some sections. I love these old school trails. Cheers

Thanks! Ya these are great. The climb up is rough though - more suited for narrow bars and riders with way more fitness than me!

Man, the start is exactly as I remember it. 6:10 I remember that drop as well.

Hey dude, what setting did you use for this video with the action 4 camera? I just found your video from 3 months ago where you talked about the settings. I was wondering what you came up with, what worked? The video is really cool🤙🤙
